People, there's a difference between what you hate and what grinds your gears. What you hate doesn't necessarily make you very frustrated.

Anyways, losing repeatedly at something (like Tekken, Street Fighter, etc.) by the same move really upsets me. Trying to put my contacts in, in the morning can be a real frustration as well. Lastly, wasting shitloads of paper trying to print off pointless code is frustrating too.

@ Edwin: Well, I guess I could be considered a "God-crazed fundie moralist idiot." Still, it really bugs me to see people on the street corner shouting that they're the Christ, or something of the like. It gives all Christians a really bad rap, you know? For crying out loud, not all of us God-crazed moralist idiots do that.

Now time for general ranting! I don't know why, but bad punctuation frustrates me to no end. I recently took a form from a certain company that I had to fill out and corrected every punctuation error they made with a red pen. Slacking people. I find that so annoying. And complaintive people. Oh, and people that don't get reprimanded for things they should. UGH!!!! Those new pop-ups!

The ones that dont open up in a regular window, but pop up and stay in front of all your windows. Some of them are animated and it takes a good 20 seconds or so for the little "x" to close it to become visible. Then there are the equally annoying ones where the "x" is there but it's almost invisible or really small.

:ranting: :frusty: :realmad: :kfreaked:

That's what's sad. We shouldn't have to force them on others. Well, obviously, she can't punish the others directly, so the opposite effective take would be to reward those who didn't give in.

Toshihiko
November 6th, 2005, 11:40 pm

dominate_ze_vorld
November 6th, 2005, 11:42 pm
Yes... to stay. I mean, a lot of people that stayed did want to go. I mean, it's tempting. Two hours of doing absolutely nothing does not sound very appealing. But the fear of having a substitute come at the last minute and record people who were there was bigger.

I'm not stiff. Maybe you're just to lax... O.o

Well, they're not literal lists, just in my brain. There's nothing to judge. There are those who stayed, and those who didn't. There's no underline in this. They shouldn't have reasons to skip class, ah, well, no, here's a reason, there was no substitute. If there was, they wouldn't have skipped class.

Toshihiko
November 7th, 2005, 12:33 am
I mean people's reasons for staying ^_^
Not everyone has noble intentions or extreme loyalty and honor. I guess I might be too lax... but I'm only that way cause I was too uptight and serious before...

dominate_ze_vorld
November 7th, 2005, 12:34 am
I can't really think of another reason why they would stay, but...
Yes, I think I was born in the wrong era because I always come off as too "strict". Pah.

Toshihiko
November 7th, 2005, 12:36 am

dominate_ze_vorld
November 7th, 2005, 12:41 am
Yes... I suppose. I don't see how you, yourself, got from being really strict to carefree though...

Toshihiko
November 7th, 2005, 12:46 am
I met someone. My strict behavior started when I was abandoned. I was always alone up until high school. then I met this girl I had to protect and since then everything seemed less important. when she left she made me promise not to be sad anymore so I'm not.

dominate_ze_vorld
November 7th, 2005, 12:51 am
Ooh... ...

...

Well, don't get the wrong idea about me. I chose myself to be "strict". It has nothing to do with my parents. In fact, my parents don't really know me, not because they don't want to, but they just can't face the fact that I'm not a chipper little Asian girl. When I do something strict over the phone or something, they ask me why I'm so mean. I say I'm always like that, and they don't believe me. That sort of thing.

Toshihiko
November 7th, 2005, 12:57 am
you should cheer up then. You aren't alone so there's no reason. I had a rough upbringing and no one cared until I cared. It isn't right for a girl to be serious, it usually doesn't match. I'm not going to say get a new set of principles but just don't knock things until you've tried em all. Especially if people are concerned about your well being. I may not be strict but I still have many principles.

I have a sense of humour, it just does not relate well over the Internet, as I don't laugh or anything. But my friends say that when I tell jokes or make jokes, it's humorous to them to see how calm I am when I tell these things. So...

Eh, no one is really concerned, they just don't believe me. So I don't bother anymore. But I am just... overly determined, that's all.

My apologies for not responding very quickly.

Me? I am going to be a trial attorney. I am very good at analyzing every aspect of things, even daily things, to the point where it drives people nuts, but I am not very aware that I am doing this. Also, I love debating. It calms me, surprisingly.

I would really like to see a psychologist, just for one day. See what they do. Bash them a little (mentally of course).

Be a good attorney and don't end up evil!

dominate_ze_vorld
November 10th, 2005, 02:55 am
>.< Me? Evil? Never... Ah! I think I remember now. I have this rigid justice code. It's crazy! Now I remember the main reason. Like... you might not even notice (or you might) but EVERY DAY there is injustice (obviously) but you know the saying, "Life is unfair"? Well, these little 'injustices' could be made fair, and life would be more fair. And of course, fair not as in boring, but fair so that so many people aren't pissed off and maybe we'll be able to live on this godforsaken, about to blown up soon world a little longer.

For example, even with inanimate objects, I need to make things fair. Like I was eating Oreo cookies with my sisters (they're older than me) and you know how they come in three separators columns? Well, I need to eat them so that they are even in all three columns. So basically, I would always eat last so that I can even out the columns. I suppose this also ties in with the tiny bit of perfectionism I have, but that's not that much. And if I do something that's unfair to something/someone else, I punish myself, so that I can right the karma that might've been set against me. Eh, well, I'd have to explain myself a lot to keep going, but that would be very boring for you, I can imagine. >.<

Toshihiko
November 10th, 2005, 04:02 am
^_^ k... it's nice that you have an honor code. Though you are a tad bit pessimistic. If life was fair then everything would happen in extremes and that can be a bad thing. What's fair to may not be fair to others...

He has an ugly-mullet. No, not a mullet, and ugly-mullet. It gets in his face alot so he flicks it around like hes a porn star. And he wares baggy pants that are so baggy he has to walk with a limp and hold them all the time. Its like seeing a cross of a skater and some one with Skrits..

that's pretty gross. In football I had to play this team that had a bunch of shaggy haired skater looking guys (i guess it was some kind of team tradition). Alot of us had the unfortunate incident of getting their hair in our mouth's..yuck

Here's a rant on what grinds my gears (pretty much sums up my day, too) So if you don't want to hear it, please don't read it and then say "That was so stupid."

FRICKIN' GODDAMN WHITE PEOPLE. Three white judges, 7 kids in plan A. Six Asians, one WHITE chick. Who won? THAT ONE WHITE CHICK. Hm?... EH. I hate it. It was voting instead of discussion. And to prove that it was not just a coincidence, LAST year it happened, too. ALL these asian kids and the white person wins. Idiotic! Moronic! STUPID CRETINS OF JUDGES! I hate them so much. In every group, too. Grades 5-6, white person. Grades 7-8, white person. Group B 9-10, white person. What the hell?

Eh, I'm probably overreacting, and none of you probably really wants to read this, but for **Hinata** (and I already told Toshihiko):

All right. Piano State Competition, group A consists of seven people out of the entire state. (These people are referred by their teacher to participate.) Five asians at LEAST out of the seven, and one white person, who was younger than the majority of us five asians at least. Anyways, there were three judges, all white, and they gave first place (through voting, not discussion) to that ONE white person. Who was younger. Who had really easy pieces that were kind of mediocre but didn't mess up. Who was white. Out of the 5/7 chance of an asian getting first, there was a 1/7 chance of that little white chick getting first. Coincidence? Noooo... happened last year, too. Different and more people. White person won. Eugh, and this year, they posted up the results and I looked at it. 5 of the other groups had a white person that won, and only ONE had an asian that won. Seriously... am I reading into this too much? Is it just me? I personally didn't win anything ( a little upset over that, but... eh ) but I'm glad the other asians got second and third at least. Anyways, waay too much of a coincidence, and I don't believe in coincidences. Other thoughts?

November 14th, 2005, 03:34 am
I've noticed that too, Dominate, except for me it's always the Suzuki students who come out on top because the judges are Suzuki. No offense meant to any Suzuki students/teachers out there, but I'm not too fond of that method... their technical skills are amazing, and I'm extremely jealous of that, but there is rarely any emotion in the piece.

Seeing as how my part-time job deals with cutsomers, I'll have to complain. Here's what drives me insan--people who don't use those divider stick thingies at the grocery store. I mean, it's at least forgivable if the person leaves a big space between the end of the previos order and hir or her own order, but I simply cannot understand how people can just throw their stuff on the belt and then yell at the cashier (in this case, me) for ringing up too many items. And when stuff like this happens, I usually have to get a manager override, which means the people standing in line will have to wait for the manager, who's already busy enough, to come over and turn the key. If that's not enough, it kills my stats.~ Like minced meat. =O

Also, I get rather annoyed when people throw their homework at me and say, "Do it!" UUGGHHH!!! It's not that I don't want to help out a friend. I'm just bothered by the fact that they're in an eternal state of slacking-off-dom, as I KNOW they never do their homework in the first place, while I'm coming home from work at 10PM with a pile of homework that I actually do. Whatever happened to academic honesty? [This is the part where I get pelted with pointy rocks!]

And, uh, people who barely walk through the hallways at school. I'm referring to those blobs of people chatting and walking at a pace slower than that of a snail. These people need to get their ankles bitten off or something. I have classes to get to, thank you very much! <3!

Also also, I go crazy when teachers cannot differentiate between "its" and "its," "you're" and "your," and "their" and "they're." It's pretty depressing if the people responsible for educating the youth don't have a firm grasp on something they probably should know.

People who reek. And I'm not talking about standard issue BO. I'm referring to the stench that comes from people not showering...ever! There's this one guy at work who smells like wet cast skin (Well, my friend got a cast, and she was unable to clean under there. Needless to say, it smelled strange after a few months.). After he leaves an aisle, you can still smell him! There wasn't one time that I've smelled nothing from him.

My keyboard not having enough keys.
My clarinet being all wonky. Also, I hate it when the keys freeze during marching band. =(

Geez. This rant was totally uncalled for. ='D Haha! <3

If I was mad, this post would last three pages, but I'm not; so what really bothers me are people who say they are dumb but then refuse to believe they are wrong until you show them proof (nothing short of a recording of them or someone) to show that they are wrong and then they STILL say that is what they said or they don't believe it.

What really grinds my gear:
1. I really hate to lose in sports! I don't care about the loss itself (sport is for fun afterall), but when I see that I really messed up and that I didn't use my full potential. When I see that I could do much better and lose against complete... noobs? I hate that... <_<
2. stupidity... It's not the stupidity itself, but the lack of will to do something against it.
