You are on of my favourite composers here! I find that you are quite versatile not just restricting yourself to one genre. I like the imagery in dreamscape. I especially admire parts at 1:10. I find the ending a bit abrupt though, you could have did a decresendo, I think.

Demonic Wyvern

Very well done!

Thank you all for your uplifting words!

now for something completely different,

Freds happy theme: its a composition thats really simple in its basic structure
its for a (super mario 1) type game a friend of mine is working on...

Freds happy theme (NES): basicly the same with NES sounding orchestrating
I myself like this one better...

Struck down: you figure it out...

its a little low on the volume side:( but you´ll just have to bare with it^_^

Hehe, nice work with the chiptune version - you even got the four bit polyphony going on :P. I like the counterpoint between the voices, though there's a few rough transitions back to the main theme.

Struck out is fairly nice sounding too, though it's a bit more cheery than I'd imagined. I don't really like the strings in this piece, but the piano and celesta/glockenspiel really work well in combination.

One_Winged
January 26th, 2006, 08:08 pm
most gratefull that you spoke your mind about the transitions in freds happy theme, I just wanted to see how people reacted on the mix of 3/4 and 4/4...

We Are Dead: have you ever played castlevania? you know the banquett hall that is always the first room in draculas castle, thats the scenery, ghouls dancing, strange and simply macabre...@_@

OK I admit this is not really a new song but it is one of the best songs i´ve made... so Ì´ll brake my "only new songs" rule just this once.

Yes One-Winged you did a good job. It sounds great and there are no pause, the transitions are welle done. I like the piano and in particular the left hand.

Snow Angels: this one is a slow paced song with some strings, glockenspiel and stuff. I tried to make it a little mystical...

One_Winged
January 30th, 2006, 11:23 pm
this is a fresh one and im very proud of it...^_^

Delusions of Grandeur: its a fast paced piano solo and the only fiting name for it is Delusions of Grandeur...

oh and i know i shouldnt be double posting and stuff but i figure I´ll post em when i make em...:bleh:

Edit: I almost forgot...

Battle Ordinary: A final fantasy-inspired song, I´ve posted this somewhere else on the forum but it is a new song....

Klonoa
January 31st, 2006, 09:30 pm
Aim fire kill- a very nice kind of theme you made. I like the reverse effect.

we are dead- This song is good it kind of reminds me of a carnival?? :)
Nice percussion too.

battle ordinary- This is a nice battle theme.

You have very nice songs and I like how you sometimes change a little from song to song. :)

One_Winged
January 31st, 2006, 10:35 pm
Delusions Of Grandeur (Fullscale):

This is the same song as the above but orchestrated with cool drums and synths and strings, its not at all the same song as the above and yet it is....

You just have to love it...

damn forgot to say thanks for the comments.... thanks.

Marlon
January 31st, 2006, 11:29 pm
Sounds awkward and random-ish until about 0:23. That section starting at 0:45 doesn't seem to flow with the rest of the song... :\ Then it gets back on track, thank goodness. ^.^

Chasing the cresent moon 2:
this is the second version of an old song and this version is much better!
its a piano solo but ive added a some strings and altered the sounds and stuff.

Rumble drums: an almost all-drums battle piece I made this evening.

hope you´ll enjoy

if not, Why?

Very nice piano! I like the touch that the strings add in the background! In a couple places the dynamics were a little funny, and that's one thing that you could add more of on the piano to make this song even better! You definately have some, but adding more would give it more contrast.:)

One_Winged
February 2nd, 2006, 08:49 pm
exactly what do you mean by dynamics movement? velocity? ???

please explain this to me so that I can improve the song.

deathraider
February 3rd, 2006, 12:41 am
Dynamic movement in music almost always refers to VOLUME. That's all I meant by adding more dynamics, to add more drama.

One_Winged
February 3rd, 2006, 01:53 pm
thanks for the coment deathraider.
as for the volume, in the first versions it had a lot of "dynamic" but since I changed the song to try and meet Brinrae´s request for a more mellow feel I took alot of it away...

oh and I got a request for the sheet music for "Delusions of grandeur"
and here it is...^_^

I´ve been a healthy productive human today... two songs.

does there have to be a melody?

The fun part about being an artist is that you can say stuff like "its supposed to sound wierd to depict the pain of nature".
But I guess I´ll just have to stop playing the guitar...

Heh, I actually quite liked Vacum - it's probably my favorite from you so far, actually. I very much enjoyed the overall mood that is cast by the piece. Since melody isn't something I'm great at either, I won't complain about it in this piece, since the rest more than makes up for it ;). Specifically, the gorgeous harmonies, the live guitar part, and that subtle but effective sweeping wind sound. The only thing that I can pick at is that at parts, the music seems to "pop" a little bit; you might want to try to filter that out. Other than that, nice job, man, really nice! Keep it up.

One_Winged
February 6th, 2006, 12:22 pm
I think you are one of the few here who enjoy those kind of songs thanks.
as for the *pop* thats an invoulontary sound witch is giving me a hard time.
I´ll trie to get rid of it....

nah, I think im done with that song... best not to hang your self up on one song when there are hundreds to be made, I´ll save the fine work with the songs ´till the day im employed or my muse leaves me...

Mission Briefing: this is like the SeeD song in FF8...x_x yes I know the file is spelled the wrong way, god damn my head hurts...

im gonna start making more RPG-oriented music from now on, a friend of mine thought I should do so, so thats what im gonna do...

One_Winged
February 7th, 2006, 06:47 pm
ok ok this is´nt exactly RPG-music but its for the same game as "Freds Happy Theme"

Playfull Intro: an intro for full orchestra... almost, the brass is missing.

Mission Breifing
This song's melody didn't really catch my attention (at all), but the drums kicked ass, I'll tell you that much. ;)

Playfull Intro
Ummm... You spelled "playful" wrong... XD Anyways, I enjoyed this song. I think it's great. :)

EDIT: I think you also spelled Briefing wrong, unless I'm mistaken, which I usually am... XD

EDIT-2: O.K. It is spelled Briefing, so yeah... I was right for once... :shifty:

this one is special I got inspired by shizeet´s drums and a band called Dntel and decided I was gonna create some nice drums, it became more than that. and mind you its an experiment....its not an RPG song so once again ive broken my "rules".

and a little secret, thats me screaming in the end....

Dawnstorm
February 9th, 2006, 03:39 pm
Thanks for the midis. (Download-volume problems make it impossible for me to listen to many MP3s, sadly.)

1. Fred's Happy theme: Aptly named. It's very cheerfult to listen to. ^_^

2. Struck Down: Like it. Nice tune, some interesting things going on in the harmony; interesting arrangement - nice instrument changes (string intro, chromatic percussion based melody and strings slowly coming back, then ensemble...) Well done!

3. We are Dead: Sounds like a twisted waltz. Vampires dancing through a huge hall... You said it's one you your best, and it's truly the best so far.

4. Snow Angels: Interesting. I like it. It reminds me a bit of the David Bowie/Brian Eno collaboration instrumentals of the late 70ies, only more lively. (That's a good thing, in case you don't know. ;) )

5. Delusions of Grandeur: Wow, that one really makes me want to listen to the MP3. (I may sometime when I have leftover MBs.) Lots of things going on, the main attraction is the rhythmic movement. That would be great to hear life, actually. (Piano songs are hurt most by the midi-format, methinks.)

6. Battle Ordinary: Nice, fast paced piece. Perhaps a bit too ineresting for a battle theme in a game, though; on the other hand, why not?

7. Before Everything: So soothing... Nice harmony. Probably my second favourite so far. (after We Are Dead; although Snow Angels comes close. Hmmm....)

8. Mission Briefing: Fits the title well. Has that military feel to it.

9. Playful Intro: Nice one. I especially like the theme the piccolo flute plays (along with the proper rhythmic accompaniment). (I mean the one repeated for the end.)

***

I wish I could afford to listen to the MP3s. They must sound so much better! ^_^

I really like the percussion. I'm not the biggest fan of the chormatic scales the guitar makes. It sounds out of place. Other than that the harmonies are good. It doesn't have a really strong melody, but I don't think it needs one. Once again, the precussion is excellent. The very last bit sounds like the bass guitar playing in the "Seinfeld" theme song. Maybe if you didn't have it so low it would sound like that. Overall I think it's pretty good.

Anyway, I like your 'not quite Spanish' except for that video gamish roll... I've listened to every single one of your songs, though, and I think I like Chasing the Crescent Moon best. Talking about a piano solo, how about you try another piece like Chasing the Crescent Moon? Something in a similar genre, I mean.
(P.S. - I didn't hear any strings in Chasing the Crescent Moon 2. Could it just be volume problems? :heh: I think you should try weaving a violin into it. It sounds wierd, because it's good as it is, but you never know, it might become better)

Hehe, as it happens, I've plunged a lazy little 8 bar melody on the piano today. I'm no good at the piano, and I've punched it into my composition program as fast as possible (with a mouse!), so the midi sounds even more boring, but you're welcome to ignore... er... use it. ^_^

Widows song: a slow song that makes me depressed...

Ruby Wisdom
February 13th, 2006, 02:01 am
A name suggestion is, "Capturing the Light Fairy" because it is like a dance (hence the fairy part) or like light streaming from the heavens (hence the light part) and then gets a bit darker towards the end, where the orchestration is.

How can we hate any of your songs? :P I think I didn't like the song about the computer trying to rid the virus, but I didn't hate it.

Alfonso de Sabio
February 13th, 2006, 04:31 am
Window's Song- I'm kind of a sucker for the oboe--especially in slow, graceful melodies like this. Eh, I don't think the drum-set really fits.

Untitled- Oooo. I just got to the part with the cello. Also, I'm a sucker for the cello. Nice entrance of the orchestra. I wish we could have heard more from the orchestra!

Both pieces have really interesting counterpoint and rythyms on the piano, but lack a solid melody or structure. Overall I think it's quite promising!

EDIT:
I suck at naming pieces after they're written, as evidenced by my "Tortoise's March to and Triumphal Return from Battle." If I had to come up with a name, it would be something ridiculous like, "Search for a Title."

It sounds very RPGish, which is probably what you intendid. I do kind of get lost in the music, though. The melodies and structure are intangible almost to a fault. But points on the orchestration. Your instrument combinations have good color. I especially like how the strings would kind of punctuate certain phrases.

It sounds like BG music, and if it is, I like it. I also liked the melody at about 1:04, although the beginning of that part sounded like that Madonna song. XD And that ending wasn't that good...

If it's not BG music, then... :heh:

One_Winged

well fortunately I also think it BG music nothing more, did you notice that half of distorted guitars were synthetic b t w. found some really cool sounds and as I stated above its just an experiment with some new sounds. the bad part about those sounds is that they are very cpu-power consuming.

oh and madonna huh... I didnt know you were into her. lol

Hmm... I've never listened to your entire repertoire, but all of the songs I have listened to are decent. For some reason, all of them sound as if something is missing; I don't know why or what that is, but everything is just so... mechanical. :| However, I feel that you would make a good video game composer-- by no means the next Nobuo Uematsu (though you can certainly work up to that), but maybe the next Tommy Tallarico, one of the more successful American video game composers. ^^

Since I've been in a video game mood lately, and you seem to want something fast-paced, how about a battle theme for a fight between a magician and a shadow creature, set the throne room of a castle (empty except for a golden throne), theme color is gold? The magician is best at light magic, so add little bits like rays of light suddenly bursting through. The shadow creature is very reckless and uses brute force. Add a mini victory fanfare at the end (or a game over tune) too!
(P.S. - you asked for ideas. Don't complain :P)

the fact that some of my pieces can be hard to digest I am fully aware of and that they may "taste" strange I consider a complement, otherwise I could just start making regular pop-music that is produced not to invoke a feeling but to make the listener buy more trash and induce a larger profit, but a burger!? that hurts!

In particular, it seemed very, very, way, too, very, way too simple for anything of any sort actually.

It seemed like you just got a 1-2 measure melody in your head, and wrote-not random notes-oddening placed notes.

If that made any sence (which it probably didn't) tak it into consideration.

I know I haven't visited this site in awhile but I'm really liking what I'm hearing right now. Especially in the beginning where everything sounds so mysterious and uncertain. I didn't mind the repetition of the piano. And when the pizzicato violin(?) came into play it was just smooth and recaptured my attention. very nice.

Interesting piano work - the progression reminds me a lot of Philip Glass' stuff. The orchestration style sets it apart, however. For the most part, I think it works alright - I'd liked the drums to have been softer and more or in background (or not there at all), and more expression overall from the instruments, but other than that, it's a pretty solid piece.

New piece - I like the harmonies on the piano - sort of done in a exaggerated tone to fit some theatric/cinematic setting. The fake sounding sax was pretty annoying though... completely took away from the mood. Even if you don't have any better sounding sax samples, try to do more with it - use swelling dynamics and add a bit of modulation here and there to give it a more humanized feel.

Game Clear - I didn't like the mood in this one as much, though the filtered drums version sound more interesting to me. But the drum track really needs velocity variation - it sounds too mechanical right now.

The beginning was a little monotonous for me... The general rock song usually starts strong-- not necessarily loud and in-your-face, just solid and memorable-- and keeps the momentum going, and this definitely didn't do that in my opinion. The melody was a little poor and bland; I just listened to the track twice, and I'd be hard pressed to hum it back to you-- absolute pitch or no. I'd suggest working to make the beginning a little more interesting from the get-go and tinker around with the melody a little. On the plus side, however, the track was mixed very well. ^^;

One_Winged
March 14th, 2006, 11:13 am
just because your average rocksong starts out strong doesn´t mean thats a rule, that you have to obey. and I´m quite fond of breaking rules. As for the melody I´m thinking of adding som lyrics to it later on, and that will probably be more memorable.Critique is always welcome as it adheres to progress.

hmm I have a theory that im trying to implement in this song. If you have the same gain in all frequenses (ranging from 20 hz to 20 khz) it will sound nice...
and I think it does.

and remember critique and praise is always welcome.

edit: if you think of the song as the first song on a record the long intro of the piece will be more fiting

Liquid Feet
March 14th, 2006, 06:06 pm
Well, it was only a suggestion. I'm quite fond of breaking rules, too, but there's some rules that you should do your best to abide by. A competent example of this logic would be a minuet: you can't legally call a composition a minuet unless it's in 3/4 or 3/8 and has a dance-like feel to it.

Hope that was a good éclaircissement.

Shizeet
March 19th, 2006, 10:06 pm
Interesting piece. I thought it was going to be an electronica piece until the guitars came in head-on (it sounds like they have some weird flanging/phasing effect outside of the distortion - is that intentional?). Still, I guess it could be tech-rock or synth-rock, or something. As for sounding good with everything the same gain (a flat eq?)...it might sound good for you, but it doesn't guarentee it'll sound good for everyone, since everyone's monitoring setup and environment will add some sort of coloration - besides, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get everyone perfectly flat (even on the best monitors/headphones).

One_Winged
March 21st, 2006, 12:11 pm
there are no flanging or phazing fx on the guitars, it might be that its actually a semi-acoustic guitar...

well here is a little project I´m working on.

On Red Leaf, I loved the intro. It really built up to a powerful song. But I think you gotta make the entrance at 1:00 much stronger when you jump into the guitar stuff. It's almost disappointing because you are expecting a huge jump into the melody. Basically you can do this by adding much more drums. Get some crashing cymbals in there and some snare smacks. Just put a louder rock beat in the background. And add more bass. I think it's a great start, keep going with it.

Yeh, that sucks - I've lost a couple of MIDIs from a HD corruption, though the worst was when I've accidentally deleted my own file, thinking it was a redundant copy (well, I still have the MP3, but I never got to truly finishing it). It was actually one of my personal favorites, too, and I still regret it to this day - what I wouldn't give to have it back .

But because of that, I've decided to find places online to host my music, as well as set aside a seperate partition for my music (as well as never deleting any MIDI files, period :P). So far, I haven't really lost anything since, so I guess it's working.

It sounds very good, the chord progression is cool, the instrument choice is cool, but it's hard to recognize the melody. Maybe the volume of the 'melody' has to be turned up a bit ^.^
Also, I find it very much repeating, maybe you could add like 'bridges' here and there, which just change like the whole song.
Overall it's good, 7,8/10

Your music is good, you span over a lot of music styles and your use of instruments is great. The software you use to record seems fantastic, and all of your pieces are above average on my rating scale =P That said, there is one major thing bugging me. None of your songs leave any kind of inpact on me. None at all ~ I don't know why that is, but now after listening to them all I can't remember any of them.

To quote you, "Does there have to be a melody?" I would say no. There doesn't have to be a solid melody, yet without it it becomes so much harder to please your audience. Sometimes you're fine without a catchy tune (like on that playful intro, would fit perfectly as background music on a donkey kong game..) but when it comes to the more dramatic pieces you'll have to drill it deep down onto the listener. The ambiance you manage to create is awesome, but that's it I'm afraid.

good luck, and remember to go for memorability.

it just popped out of me in two hours or so.

I thought of someone walking through a desert when I made it.
so thats why its named Sand. its not made to depict anything...

the string trio is completed ( in other words I dont want to do any more to it).

the string orchestra on the other hand is something I really need some comments on, should I finish it? or is it crap?

Noir7
October 9th, 2006, 06:53 pm
I don't get the string orchestra... First off, it sounds quite choppy with those constant C staccato notes. Second, it doesn't go anywhere. I know it's short and probably something of a test, right? But anyway, it's very vague =/

One_Winged
October 9th, 2006, 11:19 pm
yea it was a kind of test, got this massive sample library to play with... anyway. This is what it turned into.

Edit: oh yea, if you wonder what the high pitched rythm stuff is, its dubblebass slapps.
the low is timpani...

One of the string sections are rather repetitive (you know... the "ta-na, ta-na, ta-na, ta-na," etc. XD ) Other than that, the sound of the drums doesn't really appeal to me, but of course that's not your fault. Anyways, I thought it was awesome, and had really cool ideas/moods in it. Great job! ^_^

That opening noise, is that you raping a violin? Seriously... I bet that's air and cluster from a violin!

The song's nice, but I would have liked a more sticky and harder beat. Also with background music as this, it's a good idea to make it loopable.

YUP! Thats me raping a violin... squeal violin, squeal!....

nah, seriously thats air and cluster alright.

loopable...hmm thats not a bad idea. as for the drums, I dont know how to make em more sticky and hard (woa that came out wrong).

I downloaded the MIDI version, and listened to it a few times, and some parts are quite nice (really nice actually), but then some of the notes that followed kind of disappointed me... But overall it's pretty nice, though I think the title is a wee-bit little unfitting, but it's just my opinion. ;) Good job.

Lol, that PvP piece sounds like something from a TimeSplitters game--the chords and the ffeling from it, that classical-techno-game music.

I love it a lot. Might put it on my MP3-and it ha sa good looping point as Noir7 suggested.

this is a song I made for a friend way back when.
it has quite a humoristic intro (if you speak swedish, its from the old anime series "cyborg 009" wich swedish dub is hillarious:lol: ) and I was´nt too serious when I made it but it turned out ok... I think

edit: if you dont speak swedish and are wondering what he is saying its something like "the djungle is unmercyfull"... though the words are all wrong... love that man--=)

Djungeln är obarmhärtig! I loved that :P Good sound overall, great mixing! Although I would like more of that narrative speech throughout the song. If not, then it desperately needs a flute of some kind!

One_Winged

there is a flute actually but its kind of in background and it basicly plays the same stuff as the marimba. maybe I should add some more flute sections..

thanks for the comment... and yeah isnt he fun, its even "men djunglen e obarmhjärti" =)

He`I just found these songs that I have made for peoples birthdays in the past.

"Grattis Fredrik du har överlevt ett år till!!" translates to congratulations Fredrik you have survived another year!!. I made this one on my friends computer when he went to the store to buy candy (I had forgotten to buy him a present)...

I dont remember who the the other song was for.. =)

I liked ur love theme, the grattis fredrik sounded way too random. Happy birthday was okay, I think you should have kept the drums going to the end and hit the cymbol with the last chord. Gj

Very strange melody, but I suppose it's pretty good, still. Sometimes I feel there are notes in the melody that stray from the harmony that sound awkward. Anyway, Djungle and Toro are pretty good despite these minor harmonic imperfections.

I thank you humbly for the indepth analysis... nah seriously, I have noticed strange stuff in Djungel (not in toro though) but I cant pinpoint what it is, it would be really helpfull if you could specify wich notes that "stray" or a time in wich they do so.

First off, I have really liked your songs alot to be truthful. And yes I have gone through these 15 pages and I have like most of the songs that you have made. I am no expert at giving constructive criticism or any type of criticism nonetheless, but Ill give you my un-biassed opinion of the songs above. Battle hunter did sorta sound like a battle theme like one of those battles that are weird that are towards the end of the game, where its like live or die. But yeah in the middle of the song it sounded sort of sluggish, not many changes, and a little repetitive. But it was good, I did like it somewhat.

Battle fusion was also a really weird song. I can not seem to visualize like what in the world is happening in this song? And the ending of the song was awkward, it didn't seem to flow from the rest of the song.

But anyways you have made many good songs and I have no doubt that you will make more great songs, like the ones on previous pages.

Phew these last days have been really bussy... but I have been able to make a little music, but first off the coments.

KK: thanks for being frank, I have to agree with you; the strings in it are kind of weak. (this is where someone should say "no its the best strings I´ve ever heard!":P )

Pianocrazy90: Many low bows to you for taking the time to listen through this thread *points at the thread "my music"*.... there are some good songs in that thread too. thanks for speaking your mind. the end of Battle-fusion needs some explanation, that was an experiment gone terribly wrong, every little experiment cant go the right way. Sorry about that =). Anyway its always nice to see unfamiliar "faces".

Final Palace (loop): I think this song might raise some eyebrows, the ending anyway. the reason it ends abruptly is because its suposed to loop... oh and the midi is´nt complete....

I hope someone will have a spare minute to waste here in the midst of the christmass rush!

C Ya!

The Tuba/Trombone part is nicely written, but as you're a guitar player I'm a bit disappointed with your use of it. Also, the flute is cut off very abruptly when its note ends. The drums do work!

I felt like the instruments should be softer (for some reason  ). It felt like the whole song was staying at one dynamic level...

One_Winged
January 29th, 2007, 11:06 pm
I don´t really agree with you on that there is only one dynamic level but what the heck, thats what I need coments for. the strings could have been softer at places but over all its the way I intended.

This next song is an RPG town-theme, the town is supposed to be heavy militarised, but there is a little town in there somewhere...

all coments are welcome, even if it contains no critisism.

edit: oh yeah its ment to loop...

Sir_Dotdotdot
January 29th, 2007, 11:32 pm
It sounds very interesting (I especially liked the rhythmic ideas). A suggestion would be to give other instruments more important motifs or melodies, having just the violin playing the main movements can be tiring after a while.

One_Winged
January 30th, 2007, 04:28 pm
got any instrument suggestions?

Sir_Dotdotdot
January 30th, 2007, 04:51 pm
Something that contrasts well with violin... A good choice would be any solo brass instruments with a bigger sound (ie trumpet, trombones) since it's somewhat military-ish.

deathraider
February 1st, 2007, 02:44 am
Reminds me of "The Battle" from Chronicles of Narnia. I really liked the feel of your theme, but I agree that perhaps a brass instrument would have given it more of a military feel, even if you had just repeated parts of the theme and perhaps added a bit more to it after what you already have.

One_Winged
February 12th, 2007, 12:05 pm
After much consideration I left it pretty much as it was, though when my friend who is pretty much in charge said it was too heroic for what he had in mind I had to change the climax. It turned out quite nice anyway.
I have expanded on the altered theme and made a battle piece out of it.
Also there is a point at wich the hero falls into a crack in the ground and is transported into the caves. Sub Terra is the music played in the undergrounds. I have to say this piece have not been OKed yet. I would love some useful coments or suggestions on both of the pieces. or you could just say if you like ém or not.

The first one had the perfect feel! Good job.

The second one was really simple, but it had a cool feel. I can definitely see it being some kind of a cave or something in a game. Reminded me of songs from the game Fable (which the music for that game was done in part by Danny Elfman).

Oooh 'Sub Terra' was very beautiful. Though I didn't really like how the shakers/tambourines were always there... I really liked the vibraphone, woodblocks/temple blocks/claves/whatever it was and the light gongs though. I felt that you could've added more percussions to it... Finger cymbals, ratchet, whips, and effects from the cymbals would be good choices.

Edit: Oh, another suggestion/comment: since you used only trills in strings, why don't you use some fancy effects like col legno, col legno battuto, or something to give the piece more colour?

the shakers add some solidity and continuance to the whole thing and there is something unnerving about them, but I know what you mean, they are on the verge of getting annoying.

In the first one, the crackling noises just annoyed, me but I liked the rest of the song. It very spy-esque.

In the organ song, you made good use of polyphony. In some spots, you could have thickened the harmony a bit, but for the most part, that was good, too.

Third and forth ones...too short to be much, but not bad.

Fifth one...I kind of wish you could teach me the style of this one. I'm not very good at 21st Century stuff like that...

I made a new song today... well its basicly an old song of mine wich I played around with a bit. I even put some electric guitar in there. I think it kicks ass, but I got tired so its kind of missing some of the solos I had in mind. hope whoever listens to it will enjoy it.

Wow, I really like your celtic to gypsy to modern feel in your original version. Did you morph your synth bass in the middle? It's a smart move to change your atmosphere. But I felt that the melody can be justified further. It kind of rambled everywhere, even though it worked.

thanks sir Dot for your honesty and your kind words. The melody is really an issue in that one. I dont know what you mean by morphing the bass.

now this new one is for a game that has the projekt name CORE. its a futuristic shooter. this song is supposed to be the title song, the ingame songs will have more speed. There is not much of a melody.
