The problem is that, while mildly entertaining to watch, it's not humorous. There's nothing quirky, there's nothing absurdly accidental, and there's no moral to the video that someone from outside of the social loop can see; which covers the social understanding of what violence is humorous. As this thread is about funny things, I think RD has the right reason to state what he did.

To me, this is about a funny as someone kicking a person that fell out of a wheelchair, and then the people surrounding it talking about how the person in the wheelchair didn't fight back. If you really did find that video funny, your level of humor is quite primitive, or there's some quintessential background information that you're not sharing which would make this funny.

Note that it said Islam, not Muslims. I think there's some reason to the former. Terrorists were Islamic fundamentalists, and directly motivated by their religion to act in extreme ways. As such, to say that their actions shaped the image of the religion is at least understandable because the relationship is causal, though the image itself is likely incorrect. However, if you were to take two directly unrelated concepts and link them together, like in the latter picture (or any that links actions of a few in an ethnic group with everyone else in that group), it'd be a logical fallacy.

It originated from 2chan, the original popular anonymous image board. Safety Bear was a mascot for 2chan, and a lot of paraphernalia was made available, such as stickers and clothing (as seen here (http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sukueya.com%2Fcatalog%2Fseal.ht ml&sl=ja&tl=en&history_state0)). A 2chan clone, 4chan, twisted the image to be a mascot/embodiment of paedophiles. Thus, you'll commonly see pedobear (or sometimes called running bear), pictured above, around younger children or with sexual actions/addresses/intentions with children.

There's a ton of resources available for this subject matter, but much of it is laden with potentially illegal content (especially in European Nations and Australia). Note that when you see this image, it's almost surefire to be around paedophiles or meant as a reference to 4chan.
