Ever heard of Maple story? It's not so...famous type thingy, but it's still a good game, alright...So it might be a 2d SIDE SCROLLING mmorp game...but...but!! It's still good, unique in it's own way, www.mapleglobal.com should go check it out.

I like the game. I saw the Korean demo here (http://www.zeronews-fr.com/flash/maple-story.php). That's how I found out about it. Nice game.

Maple story is okay. The anime graphics are nice to look at and there are some nice details, But the time it took to level up your character was horrible.

my friend download that in like 5 min and he said gunbound graphics are better. the games ok but i think i dont wann play it. :)

I guess so...the graphics are good to me, cute and all, especially the emotions :P f1, f2, etc, haha...what's more horrible than leveling is definately dying...losing like 10% exp was really heart breaking...and the quests were pretty poor, but still...i wanted to kill time, it was almost school holidays, and I was looking for a MMORPG :P

Meh, I'm not really into those types of games. But the graphics are pretty good, I'll give it that.

I wouldn't recommend it above a big-budget title like World of Warcraft but it has good graphics, interesting gameplay and is just a nice all around diversion. Besides, it's free. The leveling does take far too long though.

Edit: There's also a significant problem with kill stealing. Lately it hasn't been too bad but there aren't any in game protocols for discouraging kill stealing so it continues.

I love Maple Story. Its not even this OMG THATS THE SHITZ type of game, but its fun :P

I takes a butt long time to level though.

Maple Story is quite fun, and really interesting.
But there's 2 thing that gives you a PAIN are to level up (Even Runescape and can level up faster than it.) and many pros just showing off by kill steal from us around.

I find it REALLY boring once you've explored all the places. You have nothing to do but level.. and level... and level and level and level and level and level. Then you finally level, get some new skills, then you repeat it again.

The skills don't interest me...

And the quests, there are very few quests... and some of them are so time-consuming it's not even funnny.

In my opinion it has become repetitive and boring. But still a great game if you're patient.

I want to fine a game similar to it [mainly because the primative graphics take so little ram so it runs like butter on butt] but a bit more detailing.

I played this game at a friend's house and it rocked. It was fun but leveling up was a pain but alot of rpgs are like that. I had an account but somehow losted it when they were patching for some reason. I plan on getting it installed on my computer if I can actually get a computer this weekend. It was fun playing it. I went from a beginner, a warrior, a loner, a team player, a leaf collector for some girl for gold, a theif, a theif that changed his ways almost getting reported and finally total destruction when my account disappeared. Maybe I left out some important info I needed.

The leveling up is actualy a bit fast if you know how the game works; if you get the right abilities, gear and into a good party, leveling up could be once ever 20-30 minutes depending where you are [and assuming your lvl 10-20].

It was easier when I was on a team w/ strong characters until I decided to follow them to an area I was no match for. It didn't have a taxi so I had an archer guide me to one and pay for my trip for all my health items. It was funny though that I died, became lost, actually found a town with a taxi to only find him there saying how the he11 did I come from the other way.

I don't think lvling is that hard. I'm lvl 15 mage and I play maybe 2hour a day so...6hours. I just checked out the walkthrough and guide on how to make your char and wut to kill on wut lvl. In fact, I find maple story A lot easier to level than games like GTH and Prinston Tale

no, you have to download a bazillion patches after downloading the game and playing, people hack to level up but if you try and get caught you'll be screwed. Everything is really fat and plushy so getting killed by for example an over grown mushroom really isn't fun~

Yea, the GMs pretty much suck. It's their job, though. They actually get paid to monitor the game. And they get all this extras, like a whole new set of godmod skills and they can wear everything no matter what.

Maple story is fun from what I remember but I can't play it until I get my dsl....my character from 2 years ago got erased for some reason....level 14 in 2 days..not much but still I went through a lot..anyway.....I just don't want slow downs because that would be brutal. When I do join, I'm going to be a warrior like before (probably take the dark knight path). Is there any good worlds I should join? I wouldn't mind joining up w/ any of you to fight in a party but I'll be useless for a while. :heh:

i have played maple ever since it started (which was what like 3 years ago afte the beta) but ive stoped playing like 7 months ago. Ocasionaly i get on just to see whats up but meh i dont play anymore.

I'm a level 71 white knight (scania) and im not proud of it... ive wasted too much time in maple and the game only gets more boring and more frustrating the higher u level up.. If i were to get to lv 72 it would probably take me 10 to 12 hours or so depending on how lucky I am.... you'd think the game would get funner once u comple the third job advancement but Nooooo... you're dead wrong... and now im just sick of it... (still i can always ebay my account)

I started up again 2 days ago with my bowman, have gone up 2 levels so i am now at level 23. I managed to do cheif stans letter at lvl 21 and spent all my mezos on equip scrolls. Has anyone else found that the 'spot on' quest with mom and dad is repeatable? How do i use that card you get from the quest?

So....these different worlds......is there any real difference between them and does it affect what you can buy, play w/ etc etc and can you change it at will or are you stuck on just one? Also, what world would you consider to be the best to play in? You know, away from hackers and too many players.

You can have up to three players on each world. Between worlds, you can't do squat with your other characters or with other players of other worlds. It's annoying, yea, but it keeps something new coming.

Okay.....I think I understand somewhat. So......do anyone here who'll be the playing the game for a while wouldn't mind partnering up w/ me? (also include world but I'm going for someone on bera(sp?) or bora) I'm going for a dragon knight or a dark knight I think when I start (it'll take a while before I can start because of school) and I like to help in groups, espically since my path has hyper body which greatly assist party members.

I'll team up for a while although finding each other can prove difficult. We can't team up right away as you will be on beginners island but you can do all that within a day or two.

I haven't started yet because someone erased my data and dial up is rather very slow to download the game. I'm trying to decide now on bera or broa beforehand. You don't have to start on a new character for me Hantony unless you want someone else then an archer because it takes a while to level which I think you know personally. I'll think of it as a challenge to try to meet up to your level when I start. Hopefully it won't take too long.

If you choose Bera then i can send you the quest items you need so that you can advance faster. Make sure to do all the quests at the start as you must get some of the items availible.

@Hantony: Okay, I'll keep that in mind. It is decided. When I do start, I'll choose Bera. ^_^ Oh, Hantony, are you using a guide or something on building your character and do you already know what path you'll use? Some people start over because they messed up in their stats, skills building and class path and also overleveling before a class path. I'm currently going over everything so I can create the best character that suits me perfectly from the start.

Ah, Maple Story. We (Ran, Des, Spiky, Maz and I) all played together for a bit, but we all got busy/bored. I started playing again recently, like, two times XD My character is getting nowhere coz I play so little. I have random characters on most of the worlds, but the best (which was still kinda crap) was an archer on Broa but she was too screwed up. Too bad, I had fun with her. I started a warrior on Broa recently. Didn't do much. I've done those n00b missions so many times its now funny X_x And i have no patience for the jumpy missions (like, jumping through lasers etc), i prefer hack n' slash ones XD

But yeah, takes too long to level, gets boring and repetitive...

Oh people are on Broa...I have TianFeng (Archer) and Drexion (warrior) Its mostly boring coz Im plting by myself, no guilds, no parties....haha.

Nope, no guides or walkthroughs. the stats you build depend on the job you want. I didn't know this so to become an archer i had to get to level 15 just so that i could raise my DEX.
If you are going to hack do it in a secret location and let a non hacker such as myself loot the goods. that way you are less likely to be reported.
I refuse to hack and always defame/report item vacuum hackers.

Oh, I'm no hacker Hantony. It's so cheap and I wouldn't be able to play knowing I personally didn't get that strong. I did that too when I played the game over a friend's house 2 years ago (defaming/reporting hackers). Hackers really mess up the game and deserve to get defamed/reported because if you hack, you're really not that good and don't deserve to be praised for your status you cheated to get.

I'm still on my first character :) but i did not know what points to build so i had kept a balance with strong luck :( so that it wasn't until level 14 that i bacame one. Currently at level 26 and i like it a lot, everything that gets in my way dies in 1 or 2 shots so i have moved on to boars and undead mushrooms but i just end up looting everyones stuff XD

I played Maple Story cause the graphic's pretty nice and when i met a lvl 90+ pro, i greeted him and then...
he insulted me, "Noobs! Idiot back off, stupid!"

Yeah, I played this game for some time and i realize that...maple story is full of insane, rude, show-off and impolite people just because of a piece of 32-bit color map or rare items.

I quitted because one of my good friends, became insane of this game!
(sorry if it sounds insulting to you, but it's the truthful experience i got which is the true,dark,evil form of Maple Story)

Yea, the music started driving me nuts, so I did what aznanimedude did. I haven't played in about a month either. I'll probably drop in once the next big holiday event happens. I did that with Runescape after I quit in 6th grade. Stopped dropping in at beginning of 8th though.

it just gets annoying sometimes when there's a major hacker there XD...and it's obvious cuz he's in the most random part of the map just holding down an attack button and killing things on the other side of the map...and you see he items spawning in from of him...then massive item flying towards him...kinda cool to look at until you realize O__O WAIT...I NEED TO FIGHT TOO!?!?!?!?!

Jumping while lying down isn't hard, and neither is while sitting in the chair, it just takes timing. But hacking is so funny..... You start KSing the guys and they get really pissed at you.....^_^

You know what......that's actually a great idea for a item. The only problem is how much would it cost (it would be high in demand) and how they would enable the game to do so. Sounds like a new patch is needed to make that possible.

So getting from lvl 31-35 was a long pain, but with ludi pq's, lvling is a breeze -_O

I wonder if anyone will take a level 37 I/L Wiz for the party... I'd love to do Luid PQs, but until then, I'm left training at Sakura Cellions. It's a good thing they aren't half-bad exp or cash. :P

I'm currently at the moment trying to work out some sort of agreement on how we should deal w/ members who don't follow the rules on my part. Wether I can expel them right out or a three strike rule or something. This certain member we have is really annoying. He likes to curse or cuss (ex: "fcuk" or "dam" or the one I personally hate "niggga" <_< ) all the time and is very rude to anyone who's new to the game. Pretty much calling them an idiot or a noob straight out if they made a mistake. God, he even insulted one of my buddies, draslay, who helped me since I was lv 10 on the game as a mage w/ no magic (was trying to max mp asap). What should I do? Expel him when I get back on or wait for TsukiiAi, my leader, response?

As jr. master it is expected of you to handle such problems yourself so just get rid of him or even report him to wizet/maple.

I guess so. I should expel him even though it is kinda late now but I'll just give him one more chance to reform. It wasn't my best moment as a leader I can tell you that much and it was my fault for not correcting him so we can pq that it got that bad in the first place. So far the range is lv18 - lv30. Two 18 lv archers as the lowest and me at lv 30 as the highest. We pretty much just picked anyone at first so we could start the guild. We seemed to had picked up some bad apples as you can tell. Only draslay and TsukiiAi are the only ones I know so far on the guild that's cool to hang out with. Not sure about the two archers yet and most certainly not that theif w/ the foul mouth.

I kinda like the seperate worlds, it prevents flooding of people. For example if too many people wanted to be on a world most peoople would LAGGOUT. some people already have major lag (not me though :))

Since reaching lvl 30 people have kept asking me to join their guilds and n00bs wont leave me alone. I love life as a hunter, free arrows everywhere, safe kills and so many groups of archer noobs for support.

Kinda the same for me too HanTony. Alot of people want to ask me to join sometimes (not guild though but even if they did I wouldn't leave my guild behind and my position as jr. master to do so) to help heal them during battle or to get extra support during a fight. Sometimes it's just to get a quick Hp refill like an inn but I'll do it if they're not rude about it. I wish it was true w/ us white mages...... seems like when there's more than one healer on the team..... we fight like dogs to be the main healer on the team. You remember HanTony, when we were in the cave of the evil tail eyes cave as a party training (sp?) and we joined that cleric w/ his party? I just healed his friends (once) because they took some decent damage and he said "hey noob" (w/ F3 face) like I was suppose to know it was referring to me. <.< Who would answer to something like that or even know it was referring to you? (I hate it when people think you know what they're thinking/saying before you even meet them esp. when they're rude). Long story short, I got expelled for healing (instantly.......w/ no warning)........for healing. I'm damn cleric for goodness sake! Healing is like second nature when I see someone damaged now. Apparently, after the fact, he told me because his heal was 24 (my was 11 at the time) so he figured because his was higher, he should be the only person healing (forget about if we get separated or whatever) and that I shouldn't even touch that skill as long as he was around. To avoid unnecessary conflict, I just left w/ HanTony, who also quited the party on my request. Man..... and he wasn't the only cleric I had problems w/ either...well.... male ones. Female ones usually don't act that way w/ me for some reason. Usually kinder. :\ Why life gotta be hard for a white mage huh? Kinda suck too because people usually want only one white mage on the team and if two wants to join then instantly it's a contest to see if who's better. God.....I got to level to like 40+ (forget 35) now to pq in ludi because if you don't have that 38-40 level look going, no one will pick you, doesn't help that my shield is still a broken fence (level 5).........like a big I suck sign.......

I made a stand at henesys hunting ground. rogues kept on telling me to stop ksing (still not sure what that is, somthing to do with being better than them at somthing) so i told them to "get out o my town you bunch o star throwin ksers" then many left XD and any new ones that arrived soon regreted it as i killed everything in site, as they normally do.

Most of the sins are funded, though..... Like mine..... evidentially, I need to rebuild my f***ing funds because I gambled and lost about half a mil..... T_T Not like I can't regain it in a few days with my Mage, but he's so f***ing crappy.....

"KSing" is called Kill Stealing. It's when you kill a person's enemy they attacked by accident or on purpose. Usually people say that when someone keeps killing all the enemies they were fighting many times to the point to where they can't even train. There are others who are just plain babies and might say that to just one enemy. Only 2 times I was accused of KSing. #1 because some idiot (low level) tried to KS me while I was training but ended up getting owned by me and said that. Told him to beat it because I was there first and threaten to defame him which he did. #2 was because I had to kill some enemies to return up and escape Ant Tunnel after getting knocked downed and this guy thought I was trying to KS him. You know HanTony, you can get reported for KSing too which is why I hate training in crowded areas.

Edit: Have you ever been accused of Hacking HanTony? A few people thought I was one because of my pet. Seems like no one knows what a meso magnet or a item pouch (sp?) is. Usually it's when I get knocked down the screen before the items get to me and they come afterwards.

I just partied with a hacker so that i could do the 999 evil eye quest, i got a new guild with 21 members, and i get accused of hacking on a daily basis. Many different reasons too: Jumping in chair, arrows shoot at an angle, meso magnet on bunny and with the real idiots i get accused b/e of arrow bomb. All my maple life rogues have ksed me at henesys hunting ground, all i'm doing is taking MY kind's town back from tea leaves(thiefs)

There's also that account stealing I hear some much these days. Kinda scary that one day someone might steal your account and take all your meso and items and to be the ultimate jerk, mess up your character's stats. How can they get into your account w/out you being an idiot and give it out?

I also sold him some of my equips so with the quest as well (all 999 of the kills needed) it was totaly worth it. i went up 40%, i only need another 15% to become lvl 32. Then i will use the eagle Xbow and pwn even more. Also b/c of a hack that groups monsters i was able to kill 200 horny caps in 5 mins, so another quest was done.

When I did these calculations, I can out with a very weird number... like: 10.5162518--a number I most definitely too low for my actual damage... Anyone mind checking these calcs with your own mage and posting your results? I'd just like to know why I don't ge tthe proper number. (Btw, the calc above is for non-elemental spells...)

For those who doesn't know, I'm Fayt009 of the world of bera. I'm so far a lv 38 cleric, has a pet penguin named Prinny, and the jr. master of the guild DarkFate. I really hate hackers because they make it hard to train, steal items you work hard to get, steal accounts and I can't accept them desiring any credit for their character since they never really played the game like we do.....you know....by actually playing the game ourselves. I'm a fairly nice person on the game, when I'm not getting bothered by people begging for meso or getting my gender confused <_< (if you check out my character you can see why) but other than that I'm okay to be around w/ and I don't mind helping people out w/ stuff as long as they're nice and it isn't too out of the way for me but only if I know them. I'm more of a party type of guy. Why? Dee dee dee! Because I'm a cleric. However, Hantony and the few people I know on my buddy and guild list are the only ones I can party with w/out feeling the need to leave. Some people are too rude or bad at giving proper commands for me to party with.

Yeah....on this game you can also meet some of the most sex depraved people in the world. (I'm talking to you han~ :heh: jk.....or am I? :huh: ) Nothing was more disturbing when on a ship ride someone suggested an orgy on the ship (from obris to ellinia (sp?)) and seeing as there was no girls on the ship asked if I could "pretend" to be the girl (because my character looks almost like a girl). Yeah..... turned into a gay cruise real quick.... had to run around the ship to avoid that horny group of guys like a school girl. <_< Just another day in Maple Story I suppose........ (sighs)

Just try the ludi PQ. Not as if you use a stolen fence. i could try it with you if we ever both have the time to do so.

That would help han but from reading what I read about it from www.gamefaqs.com it's way more complicated and you actually need a certain team w/ certain skills to do this (I'm one of them of han and so r u). Also, it like 6 people to like 4 in kerning city so that's more people I got to put up w/. I'm just nervous because I never pq there and pretty much going to have a hard time joining a party or finishing it because I have no exp. on what to do there properly even after reading about it. Some parts still confuse me......I'll think about it......

The Ludi PQ isn't too hard; I've led a few myself... The only problem is trying to get the team to work together--sometimes the teams' just a bunch of nubs that complain about the slightest of things, or they just don't know what to do... It gets annoying when you are trying to do the stage before Alishar, the boss... Here are the lists of skills that are useful:

Archers aren't really that useful, but they can be used instead of a Sin if you can't get one... However, you will still need some kind of theif if you want to continue, otherwise, hope that SOMEHOW you'll run into an HP Warrior... If you're an Archer, I suggest you stray away from LPQs because:

1) Archers are far better off training alone (some people are just plain morons about it... even in the KPQs--trust me, not fun!... That last level before I could stop KPQing was chaos...)
2) Archers are rarely used on the PQ... =/ Sorry to all the archers out there...

Besides, I found that going to train on my own against normal monsters was both less expensive and better exp since I didn't have to wait around while the leader clicked... or I clicked... It gets annoying waiting just a little over an hour and a half for the other team to get out... My little bro is TRYING to PQ with his Archer...and he isn't getting very far... I don't plan to PQ until around 45-47 when I have a better Meditation and I can hit Alishar better--I'm all ready level 44 and have 51% in. Shouldn't take too much longer for me to level again. =P And besides, my friend wants me to help her find an Esther. This'll give me another excuse to leave to Ludi. XD

That's the main reason why I'm nervous. I don't want to mess up because there's a chance I could die if I do and the fact that I got to party w/ 5 other people, possibly w/ the most hard headed s.o.b. around, makes party questing not that desirable. I had people in the kerning city pq who would call you like, an idiot, a sob, fuc&er, etc etc if you mess up on the puzzle part (or any part actually, don't even care if it's your first time either). The thing is, most of the time the leader wouldn't say anything or be clear enough and we had to solve the puzzle ourselves. Also, sometimes the leader would say "go to 3" and no one would know who exactly was it referring to and oh boy if you decide to go to 3 and this dumbass didn't mean you, someone was gonna get cussed out. (Didn't have that many good pq experience) I'll try to pq in ludi w/ my cleric (lv 40). Hopefully I won't join some brain dead group.

Oh yeah, before I forget, does anyone know when the 4th jobs will come out, if ever? Man..... who can ever read japanese is so lucky........

Eh. I know what you mean. For my last KPQ before I level to 31, one of my team members and I had to shout at the other two to make them do something--even then, they had no clue what in the world to do.

There are very many times in the LPQ I wish I had just dropped out... -_-;;

Just go under Party Quest. It'll give you the entire guide to the quest and everything you have to do in order to do it properly. :D

I was looting a few CSEAXINGers earlier today at the stirges in subway 2. I collected probably around 60 or so blue pots, around 20 or so orange pots, 3 or 4 steel ores, and 5-8 Garnet ores. ^_^ And I got a Purple Qi Pao and a Red Pao. NPCed. . . . Oh, and over 200 Stirge Wings. >_>

What level and class are you..... I'm on broa too..... I need something to do on it besides grind..... I never play my screwed up mage anymore, my new mage is taking too long to train and got the ugliest haircut ever (Orange Bowl cut..... it would have been nicer if it was black..... T_T), and my sin's a pain in the ass to train, since he's level 32. No new quests or anything..... T_T

My.....this sucks. I just found out that the guild I was with with my archer used hacks. :( This sucks too because I was just getting along w/ the jr. master there and then she let it slip and w/ my "no nonsense to hackers" attitude.... I had to leave not only the guild but delete her as a buddy. Didn't help either that after several attempts of her trying to recruit me and talk to me to come back, she pretty much got pissed at me and said along the lines "that's why I hate black kids!" (I never said I was black to her nor am I some kid. :huh: ) then left. It didn't really affect me in anyway but that was the first time I had to break up a buddy relationship and had it end that badly. -_-

Archers are lonely people anyway. I felt really unwanted outside ludi PQ so i'm never going to attemt it again, atleast not with the archer.

So true since archers are the only class w/out any party skills so we pretty much become lone "rangers". :lol: I mean, the archer class can become crazy strong but since we're not a "team player", we get left out a lot for thieves or mages (an archer's natural enemy I hear) instead.

Archers crazy stong? maybe after 3rd advancement but for now warriors attack better, sinners have just as much range and better attack, magicians are super powerful compared to us. only good thing about archers is the ability to knock monsters into n00bs and arrow bomb pwns all.

Actually, even before 3rd job. Because of their amazing range, archers can pretty much KS anyone except maybe low-DEX sins or low-LUK mage during second job.

However, in 3rd job, archers are probably the best class in the game; all their mobbing attacks...

And they have the passive haste. Forever high jump..... forever speed..... but archer skills are just pure awsome in third class..... Arrow Rain..... ^_^ I saw a guy use that to piss off newbs on HHGI, channel 1. It was so cool..... I think I deleted the screen caps of it..... >_>

XD They are also the ONLY class that DOESN'T have any MAJOR changes in between the two split jobs. =/ It doesn't really matter what you choose; either way, you pretty much get the same attacks. XD

Yea, except when you get elemental shots you get different elements. Also, Crossbows involve more with ground and power while Bows associate with air and multihits. EX: Arrow Rain for Bowmen, something else that involves arrows impaling the s*** outta the monsters from the ground for crossbowmen. Also, I think Crossbowmen get Gold Hawks while Bowmen get Silver. Or vice versa. Meh. I like the Bows better though. They just..... look cooler.

Well, don't the attacks act pretty much the same way? I mean, the only REAL diffs are the Arrow Bomb/Iron Arrow and Fire/Ice Shot skills... and those aren't even that different. =/

Yea, I just looked them up. It more boils down to preference. Bows are faster, but Crossbows are more powerful. Personally, I like Bows better, because 1: They just look cooler. Period. 2: Shiner NX Item. It just looks too cool, besides the dorky handle. They could have made it cooler, but..... meh.

XD Yup. That's the explaination in the nut shell. XD Usually, I go speed over power. That's why I went lightning first, so that I could train faster.

Yeah.....bows seems a whole lot easier for me to use instead of a crossbow. Even having a crossbow w/ speed at normal speed seemed slow compared to a bow w/ speed at normal too. :\ (Maybe it's the animation for it) Besides, like tkd27613 said, they look cooler than crossbows and like Silverflame said, I prefer speed to power. Yeah....saw here. Warriors can get a laser sword (similar to a light saber) mages can get some kingdom hearts keyblade rip off (look at my mage) and thieves can even shoot energy balls like from dragon ball z. what we get, some cute looking weapon that maybe cupid would use and only that bow w/ that dragon on it looks cool (to me).

I screwed up my L/I mage, so I made a cleric, but the stupid lady gave him a HORRENDOUS hairdo..... T_T Oh well..... Still going to train him. Probably will now.

I seriously think that Crossbows are slower. I'll look it up..... maybe. But the strength requirement on it is more, so.....

Actually, I see a difference. Crossbowmen are more powerful, but more unstable. Bowmen are more stable, but less powerful. Bowmen are also faster. ^_^

Bowmen have a better attack during 2nd Job(Arrow Bomb) and the Crossbowmen have a better attack during 3rd Job(Ice Shot).

However, from what I've heard, only the Bowmen get the Hurricane attack in 4th Job. For those of you how don't know, I'll try to find the link to it again. Anyways, a breif explaintion of Hurricane is pretty much--the bowmen will get Angelic Wings, 6 of them I believe, and s/he will start firing off arrows until either on if the two occur:

1) The bowmen runs out of arrows(For those of you who were stupid enough to NOT get Soul Arrow to max)
2) OR the bowmen runs out of MP. =/

I know a little bit about the other 4th job classes, but since we were talking about the Archer class, just thought I'd throw it in there. :P

P.S. Anyone feel like training wit me that's in Khaini? I'm getting really bored alone. =P Most of my friends and guild members are never on. =/ Whisper Verentis, I guess.

I like the archer class because unlike the other classes, during your 3rd job, you can be able to increase your natural speed passively by upgrading thrust. It's always enabled and you don't have the problem thieves have where they have to recast it every now and then. So, if an archer maxes this skill and have a thief class character cast haste (perferably maxed), does that mean that archers can potentially be the fastest class in the game? Does a mage's maxed teleport can even come close? I would test this out myself but I lack the levels to do so for now.

Actually, the max speed you can have is always 140% and the max jump you can have will always be 120%, so no matter what you do(scroll shoes for speed/jump, truster, equips, haste, etc.), you can never have more than those numbers. I'd love to be able to help with the teleport with the mage vs. archer truster + max haste, but I don't have an archer friend that happens to be 70+. =P

Mage teleport's slower, but you can go through platforms, so..... ^_^

What world are you guys on? I might make an Archer on a new server.....
