So the fourth verse (where the brass comes in after the a cappella section) was supposed to sound more jazzy/fun, but when I tried to get the conductor to take it faster he was reluctant. It still sounds pretty cool, though.

I do believe Rina did accept this conversation theme. Personally I thought it was a fairly nice match.

It is indeed true! I'm glad you liked it! I was trying to avoid a cliché key change, especially, so I decided to keep it in the same key and use different ways to change the flavors of the piece.
