I want to watch that series, the review I read seems interesting enough.

Yeah that's from second season of Hell Girl. The anime is actually quite impressive, but the first half of the series is filled purely with fillers; but when the main story kicks in, the wow factor appears. This pattern follows through all three seasons.

I like series that start with filler. All series used to start like that. Lately there's just too many series that take themselves too seriously and jump straight into the main story. I like it to get acquainted with the characters first through a series of seperate episodes that don't really have anything to do with eachother before switching to a bigger storyline that spans several episodes.

Maybe that's just me though. On another note, finished rewatching Slayers Try (well, skipped a few of the filler eps - I don't mind filler eps at the beginning of the series but don't suddenly interrupt an ongoing story arc).

Gonna watch Slayers Revolution and Evolution-R next.

Compare Earth to Jupiter and you'll feel tiny, then consider next to the largest stars in the known galaxy our sun is only a tiny speck of dust. Really gets me thinking at times :P

Here's my current one. After I finally got all 3 of my monitors back my brother goes and borrows one. :( Only left with 2 now but I can't complain.

Just on a side not, I hate all these new monitors. They marketing for them is all "They're HD!", um, mine are HD too....... Also the resolution of the new monitors have a standard of 1920 x 1280 or higher. I mean seriously, a native that high really impacts on game performance and just general performance (an Nvidia card I tested with it nearly overheated if I hadn't of turned the computer off). :( Also I think that the older monitors look better too, that high resolution surprisingly doesn't do much at all. They're all in 16:9 ratio as well, which is a pain since all games use 16:10 as a widescreen standard. This leads to image stretching for some applications and nearly all games that don't have a 16:9 option. Applications hate the monitor's too (I tested 3 brands of this 'new line' of monitors), numerous crashes from applications such as games and other software like office related tools. And I tested this on multiple PC configurations so it inst a performance thing. I hope these companies fix they're monitors soon, I am disappointed. :\

I'm still using the same monitors I got years and years ago. Not a big fan of the new stuff that's marketed towards the ordinary person who wants to be cool by buying what advertisements tell them to buy.

Not until the evolutionary leap in technology replaces the old completely...

If your videocard was about to overheat you have a serious cooling issue. That's not because the resolution was too high, your videocard either stinks or needs to be cleaned from dust.

Agreed. Mine's the same resolution, and I totally wish it were higher. It'd be nice to be able to do larger paintings without zooming in and out all over the place.

The card was an old Nvidia 8 series, (which is not my main card that I use, which are dual ATI 5850's) which do run pretty high. Just saying this new range of monitors which have only recently come out, need some serious work. They drain far too much power and don't deliver. I love high resolutions, but the native is so high and in a different ratio from the normal that performance takes a major hit. I too love high resolution but with these monitors, it didn't make any noticeable difference. They're only the first generation of this new line so I guess problems are prone. For now, they're not worth it. Especially considering the fact my current main monitor can reach higher resolutions without as much damage to performance and does so with much more stability. I didn't want to bring this to an argument, just an opinion on these new type of monitors.

Lol, since when does dual 5850's stink? I know that old 8 series Nvidia one does though. It was just for testing purposes. And I'd never come across any monitor or application that was in 16:9 before last year. Maybe its a regional thing?

1. i am a HUGE gamer and i love playing first person shooter games with the screens ^^
2. I have two subbies for my entertainment system (ie, one is for the other tv and 360 when friends come over).
3. the other sub is just holding the speaker up, when i leave i take it with me to school so i can have awsome base when im gaming on my computer. if i go to someone elses house i take one of the bigger subs and the amp with mo so i dont have to deal with crappy built in speakers. ( Pluse it Mikus songs are at best when you have a little extra base.

I do have wirless.....enternet. think about it: i have
2 xbox 360s
1 tv
4 monitors (i was fixing other one)
a ps3
1 laptop
2 computers
7 speakers
2 subs ( 5 really different speaker systems in one)

i have to supply power to all of these AND connect them to a display. this kinda happend over time so i lost track of cord managment.

oh, and my grandparents are in the next room so the conferter is to block some of the sound during late night gaming (every nite ^^) but it never really stops the base very well.

Not quite right still. You use the image tags with image hosting websites like photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com) and imageshack (http://www.imageshack.com). You give them a file, and they'll give you a url to the image, such as http://img573.imageshack.us/img573/8152/1297133095139.jpg. Then you put that in your img tags, and that gives you:

Meh, I do it to remind myself to keep my eyes off the monitor.
The semi-opened windows superimposed on a white background, representing a window before an outside world, makes me sit further back and take a wider view instead of being locked-in.

Finally found a website that can convert wallpaper sizes. I'm honestly sick of find one or two decent wallpapers for 1600x900...until today, all those 2000 pixel sizes are at MY command >:D

I wouldn't call mine 'clean' but I like it lots and lots!
Also I like that my icons don't necessarily match the rhino, it's different but still a nice combination.

I generally have no icons on my desktop if I have the choice :P But sometimes I'm too lazy to clean up the files I sometimes save there.

And about converting wallpaper sizes, there's several programs that do that. Paint.NET, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Gimp... why need a website for that?

Here's the thing. I'm not a professional with PS, however I'm pretty proficient, and converting [bigger] wallpaper sizes to that of my own resolution just doesn't work. It looks like hell, distorts the picture, etc. The website I found is awesome. All you do is c+p the link from the internet, hit convert, then you download the new file. For whatever reason, it makes anything look superb, and I'm too lazy to find out why :3
