I had this problem at the beginning when we migrated. It was a cookie issue I think (you said some technical things about biscuits M ) and it happened in FF/IE and Opera but it only seemed to happen to a few people

I was just thinking he might be able to rule-out that particular browser/OS combination as a direct cause, but yeah, you're probably right.

i havnt had a problem with the cache/cookies, i've cleared them, restarted everything, tried different os/browser combos on multiple computers, at different locations, and am still having the same problem. all i can think is either every computer i have is messing up, or there is a bug in the site, or there is a bug specific to my login, though since M said they're having problems too, i'm gonna guess a site bug?

m-quote is broken due to legacy postfix. Switching to regular postfix will make it work.

There's a couple of ways, two of which you can do.

1) Subscribe to the requested thread, and enable email alerts for subscribed threads. Doing this will send you an email with the contents of every post.
2) Ask the transcriber to send you a PM or Email when they've finished.
3) Actively monitor your thread in the forums.

hey, one question: the file attachment size for mp3 seems to be limited to 10 mb. Is there any way to upload mp3-files that are bigger than that? I'd like to submit my latest compositions, but most of them are over 10 mb.

You will have to do it with external links like Youtube, box.net, soundcloud, etc.

Sounds like someone messed up the code, an array is usually a collection in which a bunch of objects (in this case, usernames) is stored. Instead of displaying the content of the array that contains the logged in users, it just displays the text :mellow:

If there were any other requirements I'm sure Gand would put them on that page. I'd suggest just submitting your transcription and if there's anything wrong with it you'll get feedback accordingly.

I replied to a thread in the Sheet Music Request forum asking for a transcription and I was told that I had to wait for my post to be approved. I waited a week and my post never showed up so I tried a few more times (4 total, excessive I know, but I haven't used a forum in a while so I wasn't sure if I was doing it right). I've read the rules, checked the FAQs, and formatted my post correctly, but it won't show up so I'm wondering if I did something wrong.

Can anyone help me out?

I'm trying to change my ancient email on file to the one corresponding to my domain, which ends in .info. Changing it results in getting a "banned email" error message. Does vBulletin ban .info emails by default? Can that be disabled, if only for my domain? Thanks!

Probably .info was blocked due to spam problems. Neko Koneko and Gand are the ones that can access those settings. You can send a direct message to Neko Koneko, in case he does not notice your post.

I don't know anything about banning *all* .info domains...

edit: I can't find anything, but the options vBulletin provides are very limited. Maybe Gand can do a search on the database, but I don't have access to that.

It's possible that someone is already using that email... Can you PM it to me and I can check? If not, I'll just change your email to the new .info email.
