Eeeee, I got really good at front side pop shove-its tonight, and I finally started to stick heelflips. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if I'm consistent or not, once I am though. Varial-Heelflips HERE I COME. Lawl for skateboarding.

I think snowboarding has made me a much better skateboarder. The fear in hitting big jumps, getting big air and fuckin spinning through the air on a snowboard is much greater than the fear of having a skateboard slip out from under you due to leaning back too much. As a result, I'm finding it much easier to stick my tricks. I haven't really skateboarded in two years either (not counting two weeks ago where I skateboarded for an hour a couple nights). Anyways, I'm excited. Right now I'm just as good as I was two years ago (all I could do then was 180, pop shove-it, and heelflip every once in a while). Fweeee.

So I'm a bit cautious when I take that into consideration...
on one hand, it's Windows 7 Ultimate, on the other hand the fact that he got it online means that it has some side-effects and such and I can't update it for new features pretty much. Plus, hardware-wise, I think there would be compatibility issues with an online version...

Will put a dent in your budget if you want to buy it, definitely worth the money but it costs more than the mid-low end computer that it comes 'free?' with. If you're buying Pro's probably more than you need, Ulti's waste of cash. too much stuff there that most people wouldn't care about.

You should use it to do a clean install. Upgrades suck when it's windows :P

1.) Install Windows 7 Ultimate (clean) by booting from the DVD. When asked for a product key, DON'T enter anything. Leave it blank. It'll ask you if you want to continue anyway, well d'uh :P

This'll cause you to end up with a 30-day trial of Windows 7.

2.) After installation is complete, insert the DVD again and start the installation from within Windows. This time, run the installation, choose the option to upgrade, and this time DO enter a product key. Now Windows 7 Ultimate Trial will be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate full :P

Should work :D Result: A clean Windows 7 using an upgrade key, no remains of Windows XP or Vista.

One the one hand, it's legit and would definitely be safer (an upgrade/clean version would mean I won't lose anything), on the other hand, it's Ultimate but it's only the OS. I'd have to manually search for each and every driver and components on the internet to get it properly set up again...

...maybe I'll just stick with my Vista for now.

So, say I did do a clean installation. What happens to the drivers and stuff? Does it get wiped out and would have to be reinstalled? If that's the case, if I were to download the driver installers beforehand I do the clean installation and burn the data into a disk, would I be able to just plug it in and get the files from there after the OS is installed?
I'm not really clear on this "install a new OS and get rid of the old" thing so I assume that whenever you do wipe the old "Factory Setting OS", you lose everything and will not be able to revert the computer to that setting once again (essentially losing the option to reformat the computer/losing the option to revert back to factory settings). Since, assuming I lose all my drivers, none of my hardware will work and would mean my laptop wouldn't be able to read the disk because of the lack of a driver, essentially trapping my laptop.
Are my assumptions correct, or am I just being a technical n00b and am worried for absolutely nothing? XD

I use side-by-side translations to assist. The Japanese Literature series published by Kodansha does a fantastic job. Sadly, I think manga is a bit too specific of a field and uses a different tone than "true" Japanese. Kinda like the fake Japanese you hear all the time in anime.

Which anti-virus software are you using? Take note, some of the *lousy* anti-virus softwares out there have a tendency to associate everything & anything with viruses, even harmless devices such as printers or bluetooth connections.

I think you'll be okay, if its proper game and everything. I have a programme built into my laptop(that came with it and everything) called PRC viewer or something, and McAfee always thinks its a threat, because it has the capability to be exploited.

Symantec isn't a good antivirus company. It's right about 70% of the time, and is built on the Norton codebase which has been known to have a few security intrusion bugs. The way how Symantec quarantines viruses is leave them lying on the drive without a good sandbox encapsulation unless you move it to a trashbin.

I detect a conspiracy! The foxes around here have been getting extremely vicious lately for some reason (I live in the middle of the country, middle of nowhere so foxes are pretty common). For some reason the foxes have been quite frequently getting chickens and even killing cows. Two of them even killed an alpaca at our friends farm the other day; and alpacas are meant for fighting off foxes. Its very odd..............

Eeee, I'm taking a Motorcycle Safety Course today and tomorrow. I'm on lunch break right now. By the end of it, I'll be able to go down to the DMV and have Motorcycle added to my license. This course is the equivalent of having a learner's permit for a year. I'm pretty stoked.

It's been pretty awesome thus far. They got me on a 250 Kawasaki Ninja. After two hours of riding I can make turns and switch gears just fine. I've stalled out like twenty times already though x.x They're telling us to walk it forward and ride the clutch before going fully into first, I guess I'm just too impatient. For the last half hour I stopped riding the clutch and just gave it some gas. For the most part, my stalling problems stopped.

No, no. I've always felt this way. I like the new stuff and the old stuff. I'm only complaining because ALL anime is in the new style right now. Those animators need to use their old styles along with the new ones, instead of just throwing the nineties in the trash.

The new stuff is a little too shiny looking sometimes, though. Some studios are using computers a little too much, I think. Even the new Evangelion movie used 3D in places it didn't need to be. These guys have some of the best animators on the planet under their care, so it's a shame when they rely on cheaper shortcuts instead of letting them show their talent. I like Gainax more when they're severely over budget by the end of their projects, even if that means a crazy drop in the number of animation frames towards the end of their shows/movies. It's what they've always been known for anyway, hahah. And other studios are taking the same sorts of shortcuts lately, which is my biggest problem with newer anime. Maybe it's because the economy is bad? I dunno. The bridge scene in the Kenshin opening would almost definitely be 3D nowadays, though, instead of hand-animated. It's really sad, since the hand drawn stuff looks so much better. Bleah. ='(

Well... Let's see... Just like HopelessComposer had just said, you should exercise of course. Second of all, don't push yourself too much. I've had a couple of my friends in the past that over-did the losing weight thing and got themselves injured. Just keep in mind that when you're going to exercise, do it little by little. Start doing a couple of push-ups. 10 push-ups for the first week? Then, once you feel comfortable, add one more push up to it, and so on. (I just add 10 more push-ups every week, which works for me) Let's see... Something else... Ah! Situps! You could do situps, but like I said, do them little by little. Do 100... No... 20 situps first, then start adding 5-10 every week and so. (Sorry, I do 100 of them. Bleh! I have to add them every month by at least a 100, but that might be because I don't really exercise too much since I don't have enough time. More time to study I say!) So just try your best, eat healthy food, exercise little by little and don't injure yourself. Trust me, it'll work.

Pushups are incredibly cardiovascular once you're in good shape and can do a reasonable amount of em...also cycling bicycling etc all work your muscles.

Eating less/stopping is IIRC debated, im pretty sure the only acceptable form is carb loading in order to avoid getting used to reduced intake.

Well, this fiasco's more entertaining than Wolfgoddess, I can definitely say that much. At the very least, we have no drama...yet. Just an arrogant, butt-hurt, seemingly spoiled little kid who expected everyone to bow down to him and have us fulfill his every wishes in terms of sheet music requests...

Glad I'm not the only one who felt that way. I was like "this is supposed to be one of the bigger shows this season?" I quit like fourteen episodes in. I liked the opening theme though, and still listen to it once in awhile, hahah.

He lost the right to defend himself when he decided not to listen to (http://forums.ichigos.com/showthread.php?p=449370) the suggestions of other members. I gave him some time off from the forums (restricted ban), which resulted in him inciting even more war (http://forums.ichigos.com/showthread.php?p=450186) on the forums. That's insult to my charity, so I rid him of that account. Then he comes back (http://forums.ichigos.com/showthread.php?p=450228) again playing ignorant (http://forums.ichigos.com/showthread.php?p=450495) to his/her other usernames. At that point, I extended his vacation to 3 months and told him/her to stop evading bans. I then used a full ban; meaning the user doesn't have any permissions to do anything at all.

Then there was another account created, sent out a PM to Hopeless (http://forums.ichigos.com/showthread.php?p=450610) and started to create another thread in the music section. I banned that one immediately, and then placed a request for an IP ban on his access points.


This right here is an example of a person that doesn't know how to stop. Even if they are right, the amount of friction received should have been a key understanding that we are not going to change whatever we're doing. Yet, after statement, warning, punishment, and amendments, they have yet to stop. Even after offering a second chance, they fell into the same rut. This is why they're getting the strongest ban we have to offer here ;)
