lol, where'd you get that impression? You should sharpen your knives once a week or so if you use them heavily. It costs about fifty dollars to have a knife sharpened by a pro, plus you need to wait for your knives to get back to you and risk having them damaged/lost in transit.

The water stone I bought cost me a little over thirty dollars. If you sharpen your knives regularly, it only takes a few minutes to do. I'll practice on a cheap knife before sharpening my Hattori, and I'll save myself hundreds of dollars in sharpening fees and weeks of having my knife away getting sharpened this year.

Besides, it's nice to take care of your own things. Since you're a guy, you should understand that already! XD

I have in fact been looking around for something. So far everyone one of my hobbies (the whole 2 of them) have been partially hands on.

Warhammer 40K, you can actually play games with (but since no-one around here plays and my funds are low, that's out of the picture) and building model planes, boats etc (which I only liked the building part, I didn't really look at them after that and instead gave them to my younger cousin as toys).

So I've decided I want something that's just nice to look at. I already collect crystals but I stopped collecting them since they dry up my bank account with the click of your fingers. I've always liked the look of those old traditional dolls (my Grandmother collected them), but they're expensive too. So I started looking at more modern ones like Dollfie but I think I might be biased because of the dancing robotic one. While I like whole fashion and design side of it, mum might give strange looks if I started collecting dolls :\

Hurray! My desktop managing program is finished! Now my I've got a list of desktops tied to certain times of the day, cycling through automatically for myself.

My OCD is finally satisfied. Early morning looking desktops in the early morning! Morning desktops in the morning! Afternoon desktops in the afternoon! Twilight, evening, and night desktops! And even a naughty late-night desktop to tell me when I've passed a reasonable bedtime and really should get to sleep! =D

I've been wanting to make my desktops change according to the time of day for a long time now. I don't know why I waited so long to program something up! XP
Now that it's done, I've gotta get back to work on my game a bit. I'd like to expand it a little to make it play little songs for me and such at certain times of day too, though, and do other little things like that...should be easy enough.
