He lost the right to defend himself when he decided not to listen to the suggestions of other members. I gave him some time off from the forums (restricted ban), which resulted in him inciting even more war on the forums. That's insult to my charity, so I rid him of that account. Then he comes back again playing ignorant to his/her other usernames. At that point, I extended his vacation to 3 months and told him/her to stop evading bans. I then used a full ban; meaning the user doesn't have any permissions to do anything at all.

Then there was another account created, sent out a PM to Hopeless and started to create another thread in the music section. I banned that one immediately, and then placed a request for an IP ban on his access points.


This right here is an example of a person that doesn't know how to stop. Even if they are right, the amount of friction received should have been a key understanding that we are not going to change whatever we're doing. Yet, after statement, warning, punishment, and amendments, they have yet to stop. Even after offering a second chance, they fell into the same rut. This is why they're getting the strongest ban we have to offer here

I've read everything already. I think that salsalover's/avacado's/cello&guitarplayer's problem is that he expects too highly of us, in the way that he expects us to be charitably perfect. If he doesn't get what he wants, a backlash is imminent. -_- His mistake of thinking that we're biased against guitarists is stupid, tons of other sheet music requests written for piano & other instruments were not always fulfilled. :\ He is wrong for calling us elitist, if we were really elitists as how he perceives it (He thinks that we're egoists who scorn the imperfect), then we wouldn't have bothered to post long but informative posts to specifically answer his queries. He assumed wrongly, there is no such thing as a stereo-type against guitar players in Ichigos. He made this assumption because he fabricated this selfish thought that if he's unhappy, then other guitarists must be unhappy too. :bleh: In fact, we welcome all types of musicians.

We don't practice any form of favoritism, if we seem to be closer to a particular subject as compared to another, that's just because we know that particular subject better. He mentioned that he had stayed up all night trying to transcribe, but to no avail. This shows that he gives up rather easily, which brings me to a certain point, if he gives up easily, why does he expect the opposite from others? :what: He has this wrong twisted idea that musicians have to rush their music practices and thus, they don't have the time to learn slowly. Great music is not derived by just obtaining notes fast, one has to learn important music fundamentals slowly, like conversion of an instrument's notation to another instrument's notation. Fundamentals like this do help to accelerate learning. He assumed wrongly again, no one called him lazy, he has this sick mindset that we're calling him lazy just because we tell him to learn a skill that he doesn't want to. :frusty: He thinks that we deprive him of his right to express his thoughts freely, but if countering him was an act of deprivation to his rights of expression, then sadly, I think he missed the point of a forum discussion.

He believes that we should adopt a pianistic web name because we mainly cater to piano sheet requests, but again, he fails to realize that we also do transcriptions for other instruments including guitars. He thinks that we try to impress newbies so that they would suck up to us. He's a new member who joined the forums in less than a month's time, so why isn't he impressed like claimed? XD He mentioned that forums are "peer support websites" created to mainly provide assistance, which is not necessarily true, forums are made as a means of open communication for any particular subjects. I think he wrongly associated our forums with the likes of Tech-help forums, which are centered towards helping clients with technical issues. He believed everyone here should have prioritized him, even after being provided with the help requested. That makes him the elitist, not us! <_<

He lives in this dream world where he thinks society is easily changeable. He is wrong, if society transcribes more pieces for the piano, then he cannot change that particular nature of society easily, especially not when he gets on other people's nerves. One irritating thing about him is that he refuses to write his arguments properly. Fucking hell, he said he scored well for his essays, but yet he still doesn't make it a point to conjure his sentences properly. This type of nonsense disses me off because I write better than him and yet I mostly score an average in class. :realmad: He claims he's calm, was that even acceptable? :blink: Lastly, he created two new threads revolving around this issue, in order to antagonize all those who got involved in his purposeless arguements, and he sent a PM to HopelessComposer with a bucket-load of his spam. How despicable. :angry:

I disagree! :P Haruhi was the first anime that started my whole "anime affair." XD

The first season of Haruhi was okay to me, very interesting storyline, characters, etc. But the second season was truly bullshit, endless eight. -_- I would have recommended Haruhi to anybody, if not for the 2nd season.

When my sisters and I were watching it, my youngest one almost tried to smash the computer just because of that dumb episode. TT

Watch something from the nineties (nearly anything) and tell me that the Haruhi anime was good. It had it's moments, but putting aside that the novel was fantastic, the story was choppy, full of holes, idolism, pointless fandom and marketing schemes, and the production company even realized this! I'm going out on a limb here, but what did Haruhi do that other anime did not? A choreographed ending? Over the top (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=25) antics? High School Romance (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=199)?

The only thing Haruhi did was try to mix several generas together with mediocre success and was met by the Anonymous internet boom. I mean, seriously sit down and watch it. There's nothing all that great about the series. The only character that really makes any sense is Kengo Shigemura (yes, this is a character). All the rest are loopy and discontinuous.

Regarding endless eight: it is a fantastic premise. For a book. For anime, on the other hand, not so much. It doesn't work. People are not willing to spend 60 USD for two DVDs with the exact same story written on it.

Haruhi is kinda like Evangelion and Apple products. It's not bad, but its fans thinks it's the greatest thing ever and it's hyped beyond anything.

Also, Nintendo's press conference was great. 3DS looks awesome, as does Zelda and Metroid and half the other crap they showed. Very good E3 this year! =D

So the feeling is probably mutual, with the only real difference being that people from the US only show their attitude when people from those other little countries show theirs first, whereas the rest of the planet thinks it's trendy to attack America whenever it's mentioned. Except for my Art History, which does a 25% midterm, 25% term paper, 10% essay (which I already did) and 15% Final exam.

I can't wait for snowboarding season. I was just getting into frontflips and I can kill FS540s and corked 360s. I understand how it must feel, but I'd just like to say something possibly ignorant. Being single is not really that bad, trust me. With lesser commitment, you can now spend more time doing the things that you couldn't enjoy when you're with your partner, like playing games & watching TV for example. Also, now you don't have to deal with so much stress taking care of your partner's feelings. No doubt you'll feel empty/unfulfilled without your partner, but this is exactly the same reason why you should enjoy your new found freedom to pursue new interests & hobbies. Erm... International waters holds no terminal ownership (though, people believe that the Gulf of Mexico is the US's property just like the Asian Sea is believed to be Japan's property). Therefore, it would fall under the UN and the related oil trade companies (read: Arab states), and the owning company for inspection and legal issues. BP reported it's security improperly by engineering legal wording, just like the explosion in 2005 located at Texas City. The only reason the United States is involved is because BP pretty much just destroyed Louisiana's entire coast and wetlands, along with other Gulf Coast states, for the next century.

And it's not like we're not trying to fix it up. Fuck, we have almost every able-bodied seaman offering assistance to the containment. The real problem is that no one has provided a solution, let alone diminished the problem; as each solution has so much conditioning that it has to go through just to get BP's permissions.

Also, regarding a different matter for the same problem, the quantity of oil being reported as being dumped into the ocean was manipulated as a gag order to the mass media --- which, by the way, was why there were no reporters allowed near the site for about a week and were not allowed to interview anyone who knew anything about the situation or someone that was at least familiar with what was happening --- and no official is willing to explain the major question marks about their QC paperwork.

After all, a derrick doesn't just work for several years and then break on a whim when it is supposed to be inspected regularly. This is a failure in respect to workmanship, and proactive planning for a very obvious risk in deep sea oil drilling.

Hmm, from what I've heard it's the US government that gave out permits and wotsnot for the drilling, and they didn't check the security right.
