Wow, we're almost to 1000 pages....Alphonse's title is oxymoronic....So much to see. I've been gone for too long.
And today's concert at school could've been better (_ _) [paraphrase]"We've never been able to play through this song without stopping in between." The director said the same thing about one of the songs that the 8th grade played last year.
Last year, at one of the concerts, the director cued the end of a movement but a tuba player kept going with his bass line and the director had to go up to him and stop him. XD

oh we experienced something like that
it was a concert for elementary children. We were playing this flute concerto, but there's this section where we rarely get it right because of the tempo change. Okay we were performing and got to this section...suddenly our conductor changed the tempo WAY TOO FAST...we end up stop in the middle of the performance, and try to keep going...but 3 times we stopped because she can't get the tempo right...X_X so embarrasing

We(8th) played a condensed form of the Nutcracker, and before the last part of it there was supposed to be a snare introduction...Half the players forgot about it and started a beat early on that part.
Then on "An American Celebration" we almost fell apart because the woodwinds had fast runs through a whole section(three lines of sixteenth notes and trills)...and it was in A major. If you play any kind of Bb clarinet, you'd know the pain.
...I had a full bladder through the whole concert :sick: I panicked when I couldn't find a bathroom with the light on(concert was at night).
