You know, you can download many free alternative programs like paint. For example, you can download The Gimp, a free alternative of Photoshop. Just do a google search ^_^

Its okay. I just need paint it self. Thats where I do all my work, because I do Sprite art and stuff, and its hard to do that on Gimp and Photoshop...And I dont like PhotoShop, way to complacated. I just do it pixle by pixle :)

I'm at school right now, but at home I use a shellpack from winmatrix that emulates Windows Vista (the beta build of the Longhorn OS). Its really slick. Everything is a deep shade of green or black, and its got a more professional look to it. I think my wallpaper right now is a simple black background with the logo for the band 'the pillows' in the middle, but I'll occasionally switch to something off of devart.

Vista's not the beta build of the Longhorn OS, Longhorn was the codename for what's going to be Windows Vista.

With that wallpaper you have it's easily fixed though, since the left side is white. Create a new wallpaper which has the right resolution, paste the old wallpaper in it, move it all the way to the right and fade out the tiles in the bottem left.

Rei minimize everything till you see your desktop. Then press the prnt screen button which i s right after F12. then open up a program like mspaint and use paste. After that put it up on some type of image hosting place (photobucket) then post url to it here =)

I had a logon like that for about a week! It was pretty cool. It hid my user Icon so that no one could find out how to get the password prompt on my computer log on.

Why do some people have their taskbar metallish looking?

One of two things (actually three)

1. They enabled the metalic theme in the apperence options

2. They have a skinning program that changes the apperence of standard windows material (Winblinds or StyleXP).

3. ------- they hacked there windows install for theme files, enabling non-standard themes to be installed under the display properties window.

The images, icons and Firefox screen are all movable and resizable, when I double click the Firefox window it moves to the front and center then restores to whatever state it was at last(maximized, or windowed). I can pan around the full 360 degree sphere and have multiple images and windows placed within it. I can also manipulate the windows and images by rotating them. Unfortunately I cannot watch videos while it is in the sphere due to the fact that SphereXP uses the print screen function in order to display windows (such as firefox, word or whatever program that doesn't update itself constantly).

This software is in beta phase and it is called SphereXP and is being made by Dusan Hamar, the beta expires on the 31st of January '06.

That's too positive. Otaku is a Japanese word and it's used when talking about obsessed people in a negative way. I think nerd might be a good description for it in a way (Anime-otaku > Anime-nerd).

Basically you say that someone has no life and only thinks of that one thing he or she is obsessed with. So yes, if someone calls you an otaku, you may be offended (or you should consider seeking help for your obsession).
