I agree with Angelic that the EU plate is, infact, more functional because of its setup.

Country/Region/Number (I believe)

This allows for easy regonition especialy for out of country/area cars.
The downside to it is (afaik) that the US plate has 6 digits while this one has more (harder to remember/jot down)

Aestheticaly it depends on the car and how its set up (for a backplate) but I can find cases where both plates are IMHO better.

As for forward mounted plates, I prefer none. They take away from the cars "face" and are an unnecesary distraction (tho a logical one in the case Angelic proposed)

All in all, buy your car, drive it, have fun and dont do stupid shit. Dont worry bout the rest.

meh, I say give it time, and you'll take a serious interest in being a programmer. When I was in eighth grade, I wanted to be a writer. Then I got into TI-BASIC (which is STILL my favorite language), and all of a sudden, I want to be a computer programmer.

Wow. You jumped into the deep end for your second attempt. I would have recommended VB.NET, Perl, or some other scripting language before you hit the almighty compiler languages. The nice thing about what you are doing, though, is that C♯ is all inclusive. Once you've learned C♯, you've learned all possible abilities of other languages. It's just a matter of learning the different syntax.

Actually, that's totally optional. I wouldn't have even found that if not for my strange obsession with clicking on anything just to see what it does. ^^; It only does it if a) the window is maximized and b) I grab the titlebar and drag it. The only reason I even do it is 'cause when you let it go, it bounces for about a second.

Most of the effects I actually use are the wobbly windows (The windows stretch and woble when you move them), the desktop cube (You get virtual "Desktops" place on a 3D cube you can drag around), and the usual ones (like windows fading in and out, same for menus, etc).

There's tons of videos out there about this. Go to You Tube and search for "Compiz Fusion" to see most of what it can do.

No, don't go there...I drove one (the 451 model) and it rocked! The oil consumption is normal for German cars (that's why they run forever) and the new ones have Mitsubishi engines. It's only $11,000 new. I love smarts, and you are not going to change that! :lol:

yes, thats 10.5, I ussed a "hack" (really just a couple commands in terminal) to go back to the 2d dock. 'cause well...reflections is not something I need or want, and this is easier to see. Im hoping to change the "in use" indicator on the dock and eliminate the menubar transparency, aswell as possibly change some of the folder icons (I honestly believe that apple dropped the ball on this, and made them worse)

I've used something similar, Quicksilver (http://www.blacktree.com/) and man, it was usefull only 70% of the time. Mainly 'cause I didnt know how to use it...learn it a little bit, and people speak wonders of it. (Im assuming the same is true for Launchy.)

i'm more of a visual person, so its the opposite. i can locate and open the program from a bare desktop within two thirds of a second. i just recognize the icon, and im a big FPS fan so my target acquiring and aiming skills are top, so with a super sensitive mouse, SH!!!!T GOES FAAAAAAAAAAAAST

right. just remember, some people are more comfy while sitting in a position that puts the mouse in favor. reaching the keyboard in said comfy position requires a change of posture.

In Vista, I press the windows key on my keyboard and then enter the name of the program. Tadaaaa ~

XP is a bit limited, though there's a tiny hack you can preform on the run menu that makes it work just like launchy or the indexing service.

If you can catch it! I've only used it in a simulator, but the thing hits Mach 1 effortlessly.
Possibly a glitch in the sim, but I was able to hit 10-some knots by banking 180 degrees then pulling back hard on the yoke. I went up (and kept going as well). Unfortunately, I ran outta air at about 100-some thousand feet, and had to drop back down a bit. (Wow, I need to get off my Flight sim every now and then...)

isn't that an f-22? with its radar and stealth it should be able to gun down any plane before the enemy even knows it's there. and it has an upper hand in close combat with thrust vectoring. i dint think it was a glitch in the sim, real jets with thrust vectoring can do that kind of stuff. for a second, the people outside can see the jet fly completely perpendicular to its direction, pancake style.

OSX is like an expensive car. It looks nice, it runs nice but you can't modify anything about it.

Windows is like a normal car. It looks okay, it runs nice if you take proper care of it and you can change the way it looks if you want to, and the way it fuctions too if you have enough knowledge about it.

Linux is one of those build-your-own-car kits. You can customise it the way you please but it's not for people who know nothing about cars.

OSX can do small thingers that are fun though... like smackbook, which is hilarious because it goes nuts and never works.
