sig - 6/10 - the picture isn't very high in quality, which is a shame. Im just giving you advice to improve your sigs don't take it personally Im sorry if it sounded mean

@ Diamond: What you might want to do is look for pic that is huuuge. Then it'll be high quality when you shrink it down ~ It takes a bit of hunting, but it's worth it.
Also, with the text, try using different fonts, make it fit with the tone/style of your set. If you want a fun-looking set, use a bouncy, round sort of font. If you want it to look elegant, use a more curvy one that looks like handwriting, etc. Also, you might want to add a border around your text to make it clearer to read, which is good if you've got a busy background, or if the colour of your text is similar to the background.

Very nice, but the starkness of the cheek markings on the character clash a bit with the soft colors of the rest of the picture. (Not your fault, I realize...) 9/10

His name is Milosh Havul. He was the painter that Kirika painted with in episode 13 but he was accidentally killed in crossfire because of Kirika.

I really like the set, you can tell it&#39;s connected because the colour and style is exactly the same but it has a nice contrast because they&#39;re looking opposite directions and it&#39;s a different character. I&#39;d give it a 9.5/10 since there isn&#39;t anything truly unique about it but it&#39;s a really well put together set.

Edit: I don&#39;t think it needs text but that may be because it&#39;s one of my favourite noir episodes so it has lots of meaning to me already.

Gand: I like the signature, but I&#39;m not much for the avatar. I&#39;d say 8/10 for the sig, and 6.5/10 for the avatar.

Good to see a change though&#33;

Gand: yeah, ava&#39;s kinda XD

yup, that&#39;s my favorite episode too... it&#39;s one of the very few episodes where Kirika shows such a wide range of extreme emotions... happiness, love, shock, defeat. I wanted to capture the height of her happiness in my sig, but keep a male avatar so people don&#39;t think I&#39;m female (people judge by avatar quite a bit). I thought Milosh was a great fit for me ^_^

I got really bored so I made 2 more sets out of trigun =_=

just ask how do you do that?

get the original larger image (assuming there is one), select an area you want as avatar, and crop it (or cut&paste into a new file if you&#39;re not using PS) see if you can keep it around 100x100 or a proportion of that..

Sig - I like the image and it&#39;s nicely placed but there isn&#39;t any real flair to it. Maybe adding text and a more complex border would help. 7/10

Yeah, they ended up way too dark. When working in photoshop they were far brighter but photoshop isn&#39;t working off the real colours right now. Even my Black and white is a bright sepia.

Edit: There, that&#39;s much more what I originally had.

Neerolyte I like the sig, though maybe some more brown on the left would be nice... a few light-streaks in your name? The avatar looked a little blurred, though...

Sashiro I love that sig... and since becoming a Chobits fan I&#39;m liking it even more... :P I think the writing could be a little darker, though... just a bit more black towards the top - to match the eye. I&#39;d be tempted to put some more colours in, too, but it&#39;s not really necessary - particularly for a sig... :) I&#39;d like to see the avatar a touch more faded... mostly on Chi&#39;s face - it&#39;d match up a bit better with the sig :)

Eternity I think your avatar could be a little.. brighter... Maybe you could up the contrast a little? Or something like that? Just the red lookes a little faded out... particularly in contrast to your sig. I like the sig though - It&#39;s really nice :)

This&#39;ll probably sound daft, but your ava and sig set remind me of Salad Fingers for some inexplicable reason :lol: I like the colour, though the text is a bit plain and could be jazzed up a bit&#33; :)

The images look just a little choppy, but overall its a good choice of colour. (I like green) ^_^

u need to get past the uber filtered backgrounds......

it distracts from the character...

and u need to add effects so that ur characters blend better....

the first one u did had a good enough bg that it didn&#39;t need the character...

Eternal: The colors flow well together and the text is well brought out. You&#39;re getting good at this. ^_^ The pic is a bit too blurry though.

Shui_hu: It too me a while to figure out what your avatar out was, but I finally got it. :P The set captured Al very well, but as in Eternal&#39;s, its a bit blurry. Also the black text is hidden too well in the picture. I can hardly make out what it says.

Darksaget - like the set, a bit dark but good contrast between background and text :)

I&#39;m not too fond of the really bright aquamarine color, I would have gone with a more subtle color (maybe that&#39;s just my personality). Must say that I do like the feathers off to the side in the sig. Overall I&#39;d give your set a 7.5/10.
