Scribd is a third party in this matter; the concern is that a user uploaded the work and when Scribd did it's check on it's network to see if it was plagiarized, it was not flagged, so it was hosted. And Scribd has a much more formal (read: painful) DMCA removal procedure than another forums or websites, making things a bit more complicated and well outside of what legal control an agent on the behalf of the owner without a degree in the subject.

So, pretty much my hands are tied outside of the fact that Ichigos can produce evidence that the material was indeed created by another user before it came onto Scribd's network. In addition, they're much more serious about synchronous communication, requiring name, address, phone number, and email of the original party; and backlashing on illegitimate claims. As it's not clear as to what the true legal distribution of derived Fair Use artifacts generated by users on this site, it may lose :(

But to have a fun in guessing, its about 6 hours to Hotham for me ;) And I'm not that remote, there's actually an extremely popular place just down the road, but alas I am surrounded by the popular places and am just in that little collection of villages that get lost in the middle :).

Just a note that if someone were to come to my place uninvited, police would come fairly quickly and would probably have a "shoot-first ask-questions-later" attitude. Okay, so my knee constantly feels like it needs to crack. If I put my hand on it while I put my leg in and out, I can feel the joint kind of grinding. It also always feels like my knee is dangerously close to suddenly giving out on me. It's been like this for like two weeks now, and I don't know what I did with it. Any doctors here know whats wrong with it? It's really starting to annoy me.

If it does persist go see a physio; I just put up with it when it happened to me and eventually the muscle got too weak trying to support everything else and my lower leg bone actually slipped up under my knee which locked my whole leg it place; I couldn't straighten or bend it.

if it's the bone then you're broken for life, those knee replacements almost always fail to make anything better.

Huh, good advice. I actually stopped working out my legs about a month ago. I've been taking the lazy man's route at the gym and putting all my work into my upper body. What you just said matches what I've read online, so I'll have to try working out my legs and seeing if that helps. Hopefully it does!

I dunno. I read online somewhere that a lot of knee problems came from having unbalanced leg muscles. They said it was usually from your quads being too weak compared to the rest of your leg. I'm just gonna exercise my legs again, lol.

Nexon did this many times already. Maplestory some 5 years ago, blocked any new IP from europe and made a maple europe. Anyone that still played found themselves lagging more to the point that it just wasn't going to be worth playing. It also made them a small fortune by having many EU players suddenly buying new costumes and junk.

Well, I wasn't fussed too much about Dungeon Fighter Online (which is also IP banned for Australia) and I can play all their other games so no problem. But Vindictus actually looked fun; I even tried a proxy but it still won't let me log into the game. :\

Sometimes being in the Austral-Asia area is kind of annoying. :(

I think all the mmo are lame once you reach a certain age or mindset.
I can't agree with this one, since I know a few people in their thirties/late twenties who play WoW in between working two jobs to support their familes. One of the guys is way more mature than most people I know.

I must say that I liked Nexon when they had published Shattered Galaxy (which they no longer have the rights to). But I agree with hopeless, something about Maple Story rubs you the wrong way. But seriously, Vindictus did look to make MMO gameplay actually fun.

I think... I broke Phard. The good news is that the proof I gave is invalid as I failed to properly divide out lemmas from the theorem and used recursion for proof by contradiction; which is horrible way to solve an even number proof.

You play online or just offline? tenhou/janryumon are some decent places for practice against scrubs during weekends

I mainly play offline, because I've yet to obtain the minimal knowledge to play on foreign servers. That and the only English speaking mahjong site that doesn't involve matching the bloody mother effing tiles reeks of horribleness -- of course I'm talking about majongtime (and their gambling pyramid scheme).
