Nah, I'm gonna ride it a bit before I wax. It came tuned (with a 2 degree bevel) and waxed. There's actually quite a bit of wax on the edges of my board, so, I'm pretty sure it got a pretty good waxing at the factory before they put it in the box.

Personally I don't see the need for the moderation wait on some posts.
I can understand if they are just plain out advertisements for like online game referrals and such, but, isn't that what the report post option is for to begin with?
Having the Moderation queue can be a big annoyance for some forums, because it puts extra work on the mods, which there are people who bypass the moderation of links in posts to begin with, like in.

The problem is that we've had several advertisement bot attack our website at this point, mostly the older versions of X-Rummer (with the new version is actually getting through; which was why we asked the community for cooperation). You don't even see half of the spam that the mods see because of the queue.

Not to mention, the moderation queue only effects very new members and only when their post is under a certain criteria. The exact cocktail's definition is secret; just like the criteria for transitioning from new member to member. If either of those two test conditions are not met, then they're not put into the queue. There's only about 9 posts a day that fit in that criteria, which isn't that bad. Until it's overlooked for a few months, which then it becomes more of a job than a task.

Trust me, if we didn't need it, it wouldn't be there.

I only ever had to clean up the RP area - and approving posts is less arduous than deleting a whole bunch of spam threads. We appreciate the hard work, M!

then you could add a script with capcha, that way posts that have external links that would normally trigger the admin/mod look over would be transferred to a capcha page, that requires a person to type in a capcha as well to post thoes posts.

Erm.. XRummer defeats pretty much all capchas. That's 90% of the problem. Not to mention there's already capcha and email reply protection preformed on account creation. It's kinda idiotic to force users to do this again if we require members to post on the forum. If the bot can get past those two, it'll get past all of them.

I'm surprised this forum gets hit by all that spam to where you need to do the moderator approval message on posts with external links.
I'm a member of a couple other forums which use the same vBulletin forum system, and they don't get hit like that... maybe it has to do with something from your server host sending third party info to outgoing parties which do the advert spamming.

I on my blog, I was getting hit with advert replies on posts with gibberish content, but once I added a capcha widget, that solved that problem for me.
I'm surprised some1 is willing to put so much effort just to affect this forum...
