...Read a Susan Elizabeth Phillips book. Oh, and I'm not vulgar. I'm just raw with the information I provide. I don't believe in censorship or the act of withholding information. You'll see this if you follow a couple of my posts.

That maybe so, but at least say whatever you post to be clean. I know that stuff is all true and all, but that stuff should be already understood and does not have to be said out loud where young, susceptible minds are wandering. And censoring this stuff is understandable at the very least, so remember that there are kids roaming through stuff, so we should keep all the vulgar stuff to a minimum. Please and thank you.

Censored version:
Some people take things far too seriously, it's only information. It's only vulgar because you believe it so.

Uncensored version:

You know, vulgarity only exists because we think it's vulgar. For instance, some people think the words Gay, Perverse, and Damn are vulgar, low-level words. Look at their root meaning. Gay means happy. Perverse means a twisted look on things. Damn is to condemn to an eternal pain. Let's try an example: I could say my cock was in pain last night. Did you know I have chickens at the house, and the damn rooster cried all night long? People assume the meaning before they actually think of what's being written.

Others take things too seriously. Because I damn someone doesn't mean I really want to them to be condemned to a purgatory. If you get pissed at someone and say "I'm going to kill you" you don't go and cry wolf to some form of authority. No, you consider it as a type of joke or unrealistic fantasy.

Sex is the same as these words. People make it seem vulgar to deter people from thoughts of it. Heck there was an entire European era that tabooed the entire subject of sex (Victorian) But... Bah, you've got a couple years to go before you'll understand this point.

And if your statement is true, the kids shouldn't know about that kind of stuff, and look at is as if it were above their heads. If they lived perfect and clean lives, they should have very little knowledge regarding the taboos of living. Too bad that idea is sugar coated. Not everything is clean. In fact, most things, even the so called perfect religions, are grey in color.

I guess what I'm getting at is the fact that vulgar is referential and cannot be set to a standard. I've only violated one rule in this post, and that's swearing; are you going to turn me in for that? Even thought it was done constructively and properly? Do you see what I'm saying?

So am I going to filter out my material? No. If they don't like it, then don't read it. And if the children are reading it, and going "ew" or "OMG! TEH ZECHZ!" that means their parents are doing a good enough job on scoping out a site (if they even do). My posts will remain unabridged.

Don't worry, I'll never cross the invisible "Do Not Cross" line. We dicussed that quite heavily in English.

Take your pick. I think the Uncensored version is a bit more convincing.

At least it was night. The air was cool and refreshing, which was much opposed to the recent day, which I swore that earth’s core was cooler. Regardless, I took one foot and put it before my other, tearing each step into the wind smoothed sand, pressing forward to my destination. My task:. to retrieve water from the distant oasis we passed earlier, for my troupe’s camp.

It wasn’t that the task was annoying. It wasn’t that it was too difficult to do, either. But it was the fact that the troupe has yet to acknowledge me in full.

Mind you, this doesn’t mean that I don’t think they love me. In fact, I think they love me far more that my mother and father! It’s just that they give me such simple and utterly pointless jobs. “Go fetch us up a drink, lad!” or “Go and entertain Elder.” or even, “Can you make us some dinner? I’m getting hungry.” Quite honestly, I’m sick of it.

I know that the tasks need to be done by someone, but I’ve been doing these jobs for so long, so methodically, that any normal person watching me do them would think I’m some type of a lunatic. But that’s how I see things, not how they see things.

The troupe was my home ever since I could remember. It was my home that I’ve never possessed. You see, I am an orphan that was abandoned by a street corner. Bah! I might as well tell you the full story!

~excert from Dagwood, written by myself

You're an author? I'm an aspiring author! I'm always writing! Here's one:
The wind gusted, a cold and sinister omen of what was to happen to Queen Selecia's kingdom. A tall castle loomed over a city of Forever Light, a hot pink and baby blue flag soaring over the tallest tower. "What a strange flag!" Thought a tall girl with a large staff. "Oh well. It won't be strange for long." She strolled into the city and up to the Crystal Palace of Lunaria.
---------------------------------------------------
Queen Selecia Lunaria was staring through her chamber window solemnly. Things haven't been quite right lately in her kingdom. The wind was always howling and the sky continued to darken. She turned to her long time friend. "Leena, something's wrong. I think the clouds are warning us of a catastrophe in the near future. That's what it feels like."
Leenalia turned from her Seeing Eye, a stone that allows her to gaze upon her own kingdom. "well, there is this feeling that I can only describe as bad," she replied. "I wonder what it could possibly be."
Queen Selecia gasped and beckoned to Leenalia. "I think that's what they were warning us of," she exclaimed, pointing. Standing in front of the crystal palace was the one they called Aries Fire, a demon born of destruction. Aries looked up and smiled warmly at them, then walked forward into the palace.
---------------------------------------------------
It's for my friends on another site. There's more to it, but I can't type all of it right now.

I'll pass on that, thank you. While physics and I are still not on the best of terms after the breakup I still want to present the message that I hold no antagonistic feelings towards it. BAGELS!!!11!!!!!!!!!!!!!ONE!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!ele ven~!!!!!!!!

Oh, I'm so totally not liking that joke. Seriously. I started working on my physics homework on friday at 10:00pm til 2:00am -4

Went to work at 9:00am,
Got home at 4:00pm,
started physics at 5:00pm, -2
ate at 7:00pm,
resumed physics at 9:00, -4
went to bed at 1:00am,

woke up at 7:00am,
went to church at 8:00am,
got home at 9:25am, and been going non-stop for the past 24 hours, with some occational Ichigos lurking - let's say 22 hours for this.

I've done about 5 problems in 32 hours. That's rapage. I don't care what your sexual consent says: that's just rape. To top it off, there isn't a teacher for the class. We have a "Lecturer". Meaning he just talks, and doesen't help. Well, that's to be expected in college to an extent. But even after class, he's like, "Oh, you just suck." (paraphrased; he used some gynormous words basically meaning I'm not puting in the proper amount of work *looks at the 32 hours, and the full 70 page notebook beside him*). Problems are all done online, partial credit is unheard of, and negative points are possible (in other words, I can get -3 pts. out of 10 on a problem, causing the assignment to subtract from my total grade.). I always thought, Oh, that must be the number wrong! Oh there was a wrong all right...

Before assignment 230/230
After Assignment: 227/255

IT SUBTRACTS FROM THE TOTAL SCORE! WHAT THE HELL!!

I know what you mean. This particular thread is moving almost too fast for me to keep up with. I'm even newer than you are here, so I have the same problem. Everyone makes references to seasoned posters and I sigh, knowing that there's a forum out there where my name is uttered with the same reverence. Then probably snickered at and people spit on the ground at the mention. Ah, good times.

This leads to a theory: all the seasoned posters that disapeared went somewhere else after a long absense. 'Tis what I did.

M
September 19th, 2006, 01:30 am
You are imperfect. Imperfection is a threat to the liberation from the world's faults. You must be...eliminated.

The liberation of the worlds thoughts can only be acheved by dropping individuality, and everyone becoming as one perfect being. Elminating one with faults will only cause the perfect being to become unbalanced, and cause a colapse. Accept all colors of the spectrum, and you'll achieve both black, white, and grey.

Then again one's individuality is developed by the subcontious of those around you. Therefore, King of Noodles, Diamond is a part of your mind. He exists within your own, and the several thousand others that know of him, and his mind was molded in model of those collective thoughts. Both you, I, and everyone else is the same. We are not individuals, but part of a network of thoughts created from nothingness, and memories that others hold. Without those two, a person is nothing.

Therefore, we are already at perfection. We are all connected in personality subcontiously to the one superior being. Everyone is one, and one is everyone. Openly accept the fact of the imperfections, and you will see that those are rounding parts of the perfection.

[/easy_philosophy]

We're not even allowed to save pictures unless we have permission and if it's school related. :bleh:

The Cello? Cool! I've always thought that string instrements were super hard, that's why I quit Violin and went to Guitar (This string instrement is EASY) and Alto Sax.

There was a tribe in Africa which was very fierce and warring...they would battle all the tribes in the area, and they always won. As a victory trophy, they would take the throne of the chief of the defeated tribe and carry it home, chanting victory chants and singing the whole way. When they got home, they would put the throne in the attic of the grass hut. This went on for quite some time, and soon the throne collection grew, adding to the prestige of the tribe.

One day, they battled a tribe of fairly large people, some might call them giants. They won, and they struggled to get the throne home...but the chanting and joyesness prevailed as usual. When they got home, they had the ritual of putting the throne in the attic of the grass hut, but the weight was too much. The ceiling collapsed, killing everyone in the tribe.

The moral: People who live in grass houses shouldn't stow thrones.
