Ah, my programming is going surprisingly well today. It had a pretty big (and obscure, by my horrible problem-finding standards) bug in it, but I somehow figured it out almost instantly. Either I'm super lucky, and the solution clicked for some reason, or I'm getting better at this. =D

Also, I want a moped (or scooter, as they're apparently supposed to be called, even though everyone I know calls them "mopeds"), but I have no money. I found an awesome looking Vespa on craigslist (of course, Vespas are the ultimate motorized scooters, because of FLCL), but they want $3500 for it. D:

There are a few decent looking used ones for around $600 that go around 40 mph, which I'd be happy with, but I only have like $400 right now. I guess I'll have to save another paycheck or two.

And I really want the Vespa. Sexy! (To me!)

My parents were like "no, he's actually not, even though he sounds it," but I almost couldn't believe them!

Anyway, the retarded-sounding southern man turned out to actually be a very clever, likeable, and awesome guy, throwing me for a loop. Para, rise above the world's pre-conceived notions of how drawls relate to intelligence! Or something like that!

And, if you remember correctly, they became spam buckets. It was to the point in which we REMOVED the subforum entirely from ichigos during the redesign; which was designed to change the focus of the forums and improve the quality of posting with the change of mood.

Besides, who wants to enter the Pub and see that the private forum of Ichigos is filled with game threads and not any meaningful (i.e. commonsensical) threads? The first phase broke, as the Pub was supposed to be the ``mature'' subforum, where the other groups were to be pinpointed. Sadly, the pub retained it's everyday chatter status.


I guess what it comes down to is this:

Ichigos is a fun place. We will listen to the user's request and strongly consider their opinion. We respect our transcribers, we respect our regulars, we respect new users. We will not break down on users unless the staff feels it is necessary. We hold no favor (except to transcribers) on subjects of concern. We welcome any and all opinions to topics, so long as the opinion holds a standing.

We are not a forum where the users must be babysat. The forums have an objective, and that objective is to be meaningful, commonsensically. If we lose that meaning, all is lost, and the forums lose their purpose. This is not to say we restrict users to only make meaningful posts, but to instead have them be able to consider what it is that they are typing before actually submitting a post and/or thread.

We will not tolerate annoyances such as breaking rules for the sake of breaking them, nor bending rules just to see how far they can be bent. We will not tolerate misconduct, considering time and place. We will not tolerate anything that will harm the image of this statute maturity we have developed. Ugh, my C# 'program' (if you can call it that) is finished, but I can't publish it for some reason! I tried just taking the exe out of the debug bin of the project, but that doesn't work. So I tried just running the debug exe straight from the debug folder. Again, no luck. The clock updates and stuff when I run the debug exes, but it won't accept any keyboard input. It just sits there. When I run the project in C#, it runs just fine. Halp anyone? Do you know, M? I don't think you use C# though...
I just checked a few of my other projects too, and none of them run outside of C# either. = \
