I hate my "elite" high school, for the first time in my life I'm failing.

I got a D+ on a math quiz...
Got a B on the easiest English Test in the WORLD. I was careless and copied the last two problems wrong...
and I'm getting a C- right now in Manderin, cos they kicked me out of Manderin one and put me with the big kids... What's really sad is that I'm maderin and I have my parents to help me and I'm so close to failing it...

Yes, I'm dying from stress, yes I was crying but hte crying only lasted one day cos apperently I'm seriously allergic to not being happy... so I'll be Emo on the inside...

On the bright side I got my braces off...but I got retainers so now I can't eat whenever I want...

You have no idea how much I can relate to that. Retarded language arts teacher! She really hated me.
I'd say hi to her and she'd pretend to ignore me. And one time she said I had two missing assignments that I knew I turned in so I redid them, got a less than perfect grade on my progress report (thankfully not my report card) and when she was handing back papers, I got the papers I did to make up for the 2 missing ones......and the 2 missing ones.
I can't believe I didn't call her on it. I think I was too shocked.
Retarded, senile teacher. :ranting:
Oh yeah it was last year. And I haven't forgotten. :ranting:
Rant.
Have I told this story before? People need to know it in order to know my character, so I tell it to everyone. Also because I hate that teacher and want people to console me so I can forget the whole thing ever happened. :ranting:

Well, Im doing preety well in Spanish right now (have a 96 average), but I just know that Im going to fall behind the lessons eventually and get all confused, so Im worried about that. Geometry isn't hard right now, but my friend says that when you get to the proofs then it becomes tough. World History is easy. Not so good in Grammar never have been, Vocabulary is preety easy, Literature is not that difficult, Biology is easy, at least right now it is.Bible class is a little hard because its so hard to take notes. But Ive got around a B average in the class. And yeah im in the 10th grade.

Nah, my English teacher is always on the up and up, but maybe thats because I go to a private school.

I think she thought I was gothic and tried to stay away from me. I'm not goth! Just cause I don't dress up my hair, just cause I have hair (not meaning to be rude but she was balding) she must've thought I was goth! GRR.

No no no... You missed what I said. Christian Mythology is an actual division of Christianity. That's the part that contains the hierarchy of angels, holy geometry, the story of the holy grail and the Lance of Longinus (both used to take Jesus down from the cross. The Lance to make a hole in his body to drain his blood, and the grail to hold his blood), Lilith--first wife of Adam, the Tree of Life, the first fallen angel, ect, ect.

I ment no ill will at all! (If you doubt me, look it up).

well, you go by course number for room section, and then subclass for the actual room, and then by day of the week. It looks like he doesn't have every class on every day of the week either. The numbers signify what the hour he has the class. The letters A and E have something to do with lunch.

That's my take. It's not too different from how college does it.

0 Homeroom
1 AP Calc
2 Phyed
3 AP Physics
4A Stage Band 8
5A Production Systems
5E Lunch
6 Literary Studies
7 AP Economics

Where there are periods with a letter by them, they signify two half periods put together. This allows for a 20 min lunch break. Each full period is 42 min long, with 4 mins between classes.

But I go to Hempfield so everything has to be mest up! Right now I'm celebrateing Thanksgiving cause my teachers are on strike so I might as well live up the holiday breaks while I can before I have to go to school when I normally have break.

Easy, my school offered the course, I met the pre-requisite, I went to my guidance councilor and said "I want in these classes."
They said, "Sure but you understand you wont have any study halls in this schedule?"
"Yeah, I know. What do you need those for anyway? All you do is sleep in them or go to the band room."

@PorscheGTIII- Hmm actually I dont understand that kind of GPA system. Never heard of it and Im a bit confussed by it.

It works out like this. You could be in General classes and not try hard and get a 97% GPA or you could challenge yourself in an AP Class and get a 90%. Whats unfair is that if you were in a General class and put the same amount of effort into the general class as you would the AP, you could easily get a 100% GPA. But since you took the AP Class, It's almost like punishing yourself; you'll be knocked down in your class rank for challenging yourself. To even the playing field and to reward your effort for challenging yourself, the final grade is weighted so that your 90% shows up as a 99% and thus putting you where you should be in your class rank. Whats funny is that it is possible then to graduate with a 110% GPA.

ChristopherArmalite

Actually, in my school, our homework is anything we didn't get done in a class.

Example:
My teacher assigns us to draw the Bohr Diagram of Uranium and draw the sodium and chlorine ions joined together.

If I don't finish it when the class is finished, it's homework. If I do, then huzzah, I have no homework. It's just sad that I finish everything within 20mins after assigning it. I should learn to slow down, I keep getting bored when I finish early...but oh well...I get to sleep XD

1 = 70%

Same here, except the teacher has to explain everything 3 times so we don't get the chance.
I liked last year! Except for language arts. I want that teacher fired! About 75% of her students failed her class. Not me. I managed to slink by somehow with A's, for the most part. I think I got one B for not turning in my warm ups. -_-

It is almost 2 am here. I think I am going to die of sleep deficiency tommorrow. Night!

Trust me, you won't die...
It was part of a stupid attempt I did during summer, I had 2 weeks of no sleep. After two weeks, I slept for 20 hours XD

Chris...how'd you manage 2 weeks?

Managing two weeks is easy...every night I just go to the computer and watch episodes after episodes of anime XD

sometimes I keep myself occupied and do some animations...I do just fine drinking freezing iced-tea to give myself brainfreeze and keep me awake XD

Also, I don't recommend trying it. After I started sleeping again, I had a hard time. Sometimes I'll fall asleep at 2 am and I always felt horrible when waking up...now, I feel just fine and everything is back to normal

1) Many people have called me that before XD
2) I wasn't planning on doing it again
3) Of course there will be times when I pull all-nighters, not just for 14 consecutive days
4) After experiencing the seemingly sleepless nights whenever I try to sleep, I doubt that I'd be doing it without rest again

Note: Sentences that have over sixty-eight words, and paragraphs that's word/sentence average is over forty is considered taboo in writing--if you have two sentences in a paragraph, you cannot exceed the value of eighty words--though many have to worry; it's quite difficult to surpass those limits, even if you are a good at English syntax, in Grammar skills, or word lovers that form very long sentences--both scrabble and English Majors alike.

Even so, there are many classic books that obviously stood the test of time have very little periods. My brother showed me this book [I cant remember but it was one of the obvious classics] that used so many comma's and semi's it was rediculous.

Yeah, because all the grammar teachers I've had said never to use double negatives because its inappropriate grammar. I sometimes use double negatives just because. All I was doing was just pointing out the obvious.
I wonder how many negatives you can get in a sentence and still be able to understand it. Because two negatives makes the sentence positive and three negatives make a , well, a negative. Sort of like Algebra. But I think it can work differently though.

I'm just tired of anime because they keep chopping it up and chopping it up, excluding all of the good parts in manga. And all the good stuff comes on at ridiculous hours.

Dont worry. It never really existed. It's just a bunch of simulated data. Like that movie the Matrix and the contradictory opening story bit of Kingdom Hearts 2.

You see, you can attempt to break me, but because I am present in this world from the belief others have in my existence, therefore I will exist regardless of what happens to my body. My soul is not my own, rather it is a joint thought that was conjured about from the collective unconscious of others around me. Sure their will be pain, but my actual existence will move from one body to another.

I don't like it. I have to like it. It's the only anime on at a good hour. It's actually quite boring, and I only payed a lot of attention to 2 episodes. Right now I'm not watching because of that stupid little reindeer.
It has a lot of repulsive characters. The only character that makes any sense (and whose voice doesn't make me want to kill myself) is Nami, and she's boring. I wish they would replace it with something cool, like Rurouni Kenshin. But alas, too many people watch, too high ratings, and so they're not going to get rid of it anytime soon.

Gah, i need help. Should I get the 8Gb Ipod Nano or the 30 GB? They are the same price, but 8Gb can play music for 24 hours, 30Gb only 14. 8GB is alot smaller, but 30 GB can play movies... Gah, so many choices >.<

Ipod? Why? Go with iAudio x5L (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16855603827). It does all of what Ipod does, and then some.

Why don't you download?

Why I don't download: Viruses. EX: Our last computer. God knows what all was on it, and the moniter it came with did this funny thing one day before vacation. It would turn itself on and off, on and off, on and off by itself, and tick like a timebomb. We came back from vacation and it still did it, not that I was expecting otherwise. So, we replaced it with a crummy 1990's moniter from the garage that was yellow when it was supposed to be white. It worked for a while, even though I hated it and that was the period of time that I used the laptop instead. Well, after a while, I turned it on and the moniter clicked on and off, on and off, on and off, ticking like a timebomb. We finally trashed that computer and got an E310, and I made sure that my sis didn't save thousands of pictures like she did on the last one that made it slow.
So, as a precaution to protect the lovely, shiny, brand new, not-so-as-heck computer, we download nothing. Unless someone we know sends it to us in email.
I must be in a mood to type so much. I just like telling that story, though. ^.^

Did you know you had to download this web page in order to view it? It's currently stationed on your computer in your internet cache. If I wanted to I could make an embeded script file for my signature and make it look like an image, and load a virus onto everyones computer. It's not too hard to do, just get a webhost, and use a little HTML and Javascript skill, and you can do it. No matter what you do, you cannot get around viruses. It's impossible (on windows, that is).

If you just have a good antivirus/malware/adware/firewall installed, you should be fine. My old Winbox had NOD32/Windows Anti-malware/adaware-SB S&D/Sygate installed for a security package. Sygate blocked all unwanted services, NOD32 scanned all files around the clock and web pages before I even viewed them, Adaware and SB took care of all my spyware problems, and I'm not too fluent in Malware, but I'm sure it did it's job; because I never got a single virus or problem from downloading or viewing.

Of course when I say downloading, I'm talking about Bittorrent. Using something like Kazaa or limewire is asking for problems. Not that those two are bad clients, it's just that they're too mainstream. Black Hats go there and place viruses just for fun. Bittorrent is reletivly clean as of right now. I'm sure once it gets bigger, people'll start putting more viruses into the BT network.

You don't have to be too afraid of downloading, you just have to have the proper protection. Just like how a weak person doesn't go into a bar without some type of an escort.

I know it's impossible to avoid viruses. I just want to avoid what I can. And I have good protection. It's just that no matter how many times it's upgraded it wants to be upgraded more and it gets so annoying.

*places virus in signature* It's a good one too! It loads IE when you press Ctrl+Alt+Del, Alt+Tab brings up My computer, and running regedit launches Google, all files are locked into read only mode, and all power management controls are severed.

Or you could click on this (http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/youare.php) link.

September 24th, 2006, 03:39 pm
huh. whatever. I'm not so mean to place a virus anywhere. I don't even know how. I use the computer for homework, writing, and internet. that's it. Wait! I forgot video games and ths com has dvd drive so I can play myst and vamp hunter and wow this'll be fun.
I could easily figure it out, though. *grins maliciously* That is how you spell it, right?
