I learned traditional at first and then I was forced to switch to simplified. I hate it since the simplified school gives you like 243856243624.458468 times more homework and the tests are 54847594.24634 times harder. And it looks ugly like rhinocerous behind.

yeah I think I have around 250 total too including traditional. Simplified is evil cos I can't remeber which simplifed is translated from which tradtional.
Words like "give" which are easy cos you only need to change the left side.
but words like Holiday the top changes and I always end up writting the bottom the same as the Traditional geting hella points docked off~

Actually, I remember little of Negima. Other than the sneezing and heavy fanservice provided in the original. Maybe I should dust off the DVDs or maybe get the new version (unless it's licensed).

EDIT: I've been wrongly labeling the class. It is not statistics (stat), but rather probability. Statistics comes later on in the class. Just in case anyone cares (which they don't).

The whole idea of the statistics is to find the probability of an outcome is it not? After that you summarise the results. Need any help just ask, though most of it is easy enough at the start.

When you save your text file in the open document format rename the extention (odt, ods, odb, ...) to zip. For instance, myTextFile.odt -> myTextFile.zip.

Unpack it and you'll see just how your document looks now. That's right. The open document format is just a java archive (jar) with a different extension. The best part about knowing this, is that if your text file is corrupt, you can convert it to zip, and try and find where the issue is internally (if you understand xml), and return it back to the open document format; allowing data recovery far superior to any automated process.

It really is a fun game to play but I wished they did better in Disgaea 2: Cursed Memeroies......it was good but it left you a little disappointed because it felt lacking in some key areas like the humor, endings, the characters themselves and if anyone played the Disgaea:Hour of Darkness, some of the old returning characters sound and are.....well.... out of character. The best part really is the battles but it was still fun though.

Dell, I owned an i9300 (predecessor of the e1705 I believe) and would just like to say I loved it.

Apple, currently own a macbook, its been great so far, runs everything I need no problem.

Acer isn't too bad, their laptops are decent quality and offer good quality for their money. Just hope it doesn't break down, you'll be without a computer for at least a month. they're kinda slow in repairing it. It took them three weeks to replace the power adapter of my laptop.

Well, that's the normal guy/girl ratio of the internet.

if you don't mind a 1button mouse when not using an external mouse (right click can be simulated by using CTRL+Click) there is actually no harm in trying a mac, with Bootcamp you can install windows natively (provides a safety net in case you don't like OSX) personally tho OSX has been good to me, I got basic IM and internet working 5 min after booting it up for the first time.. IDK how to do everything I did in windows but apart from that my "switch" experience has been great.

as I said before big screen = no battery life + added bulk, do you really need that much screen space? if you do but need portability have you looked into shuttle systems or an external display for home?

Eh, the first time I ever donated blood, I ended up passing out while I was waiting for them to tell me I could go back to class. :lol:

I passed out when I was just laying there and the vampires kept asking me "how are you feeling??" like a thousand times...then I looked at the clock then I heard my friend talking to me and then the nurse lady said something...half a second later everything was black lol I am such a weakling

Well, I finished donating, and I was laying there waiting, and I got so bored, and I was just staring at the ceiling. I just passed out from boredom! LOL The next thing I knew there were people all around, and I was covered in sweat and puking up bile in the biohazard bag...

I ended up laying there for another hour wrapped up in a blanket with a juice box propped on the blanket before they even let me get up. Then another 45 minutes at the snack table, two brownies, a nutty bar and two Capri Sun juice boxes later, I finally got to go back to class. And by the time I even got out, everybody had already heard about it so the rest of the day people were like "Did you really pass out?" every five minutes...

How much did you weigh? At our drive you had to be 16 and weigh at least 110 pounds. I was only 112 and didn't get a very good breakfast that morning. They told me that's probably why it happened to me.

yah that's basically what happened to me beside the fact that the needle was still in me, I wasn't throwing up and I had the nasty smell and taste of ammonia in my nose and mouth (and my eyes were burning as well)

They didn't tell me why I passed out thoug cuz I weighed enough and I had been eating all day.
And when i was at the snack table a girl next to me passed out and started having a seizure. I wanted to help so bad but my body wouldn't let me move, plus the nurses kept telling me to take it easy and not move. lol that's when I almost passed out again.
It was a long day, and then I came home and slept for like 6 hours lol.

That's what happens when you donate blood? Fascinating...I've never heard of its procedures but then I just figure it's like drawing blood for a blood test (which I had, but I was perfectly fine other than the annoying itch where I had the needle inserted in)

Some people have bad reactions to it. I tried once again after the first incident, but the person put the needle in crooked and it was making my whole arm hurt, so I asked him to fix it. So he pulled it out halfway and tried to straighten it out, but the feeling of it wiggling around in there was so gross I almost puked...

They say most people don't have problems with it though. I guess me and X are just little pansies. XD

For blood tests I don't think they take as much as they do for a donation. Most donations are a pint, or you could do what they called a "Double Red" which is one needle in each arm, filling two bags at once.

At my school, you have to be at least 17 to donate blood...(I have a year and two months...) but I'm not afraid of needles...maybe I'll donate if there's another blood drive next year...

Whenever my mom gets bloodwork done, they use a butterfly needle because they have horrendous luck with getting it into her vein right with a big needle. I swear the one they used on me was like 3mm. Now THAT made me panic. :lol:

EDIT: Only the Red Cross lets you donate when you're 16. A while back they had such a shortage that they had to drop the age limit to get more donations.

I never liked needles period. When I was little,whenever I got a shot I would scream and hit everyone including my mom and the doctors. Which was weird cos I don't throw tandrums anywhere else. Even now whenever I have to get a shot as soon as the needle approaches I start back up and flinching.

I just realized that Eternal and I act the same when it comes to needles. I used to scream and flail around, hitting everything I can before the doctors/my parents subdue me. Now I still don't like needles but I put on a brave face and take it without any complaints

I learned something new today. In Linux, ext2 and ext3 have advanced file recovery. 99.9% of the time, you can get the file back. BUT! ReiserFS has close to null, and if you can get the file back (which is about a 30 % chance), it has a psyco number name like 954858_438455.

So when people tell you to not delete something, and you're not on ext file systems, FUCKING WRITE PROTECT IT!!!

Chris is right. I had a weak nose ever since I was born and when I get a nosebleed sometimes, it starts gushing out like a waterfall. :bleed: I was afraid of seeing my blood before but after so many nosebleeds, it got to the point to where I would actually feel weird if I didn't see my blood every now and then (that's way beyond tolerance). That will happen to you if you get bad nosebleeds like me. I curse my weak nose......it caused alot of problems for me when I got into fights when I was younger. I was seriously bleeding all over the place, myself and the person I was fighting too. x_x
