I was flirting with the check mark button "lock thread after posting" when submitting my post. I hit the submit without double checking everything (the lock options are at the very bottom of the post window, with a submit button far above it-- It was off screen). After I posted I didn't see anything wrong with the thread and passed it off. Even though a thread is locked, a Mod can still reply, so the quick reply box was still there for me. I'm still not used to that. It wasn't until I reached the top page that I saw the lock icon by the thread title. I quickly double clicked the icon to unlock it.

Again, I'm sorry. If you like, I could delete posts so you were @ 400k, Siul.

don't really know...I found out my typing speed at my school. It was required to be in Info Tech class

speed depends on what you are typing. For example if you are being told what to type you will be faster than copying from paper. Also what if you are having to think what to type.

I could say the same for the Bible, though. It is just words. There is no significant or extraordinary purpose behind them, other than a repetitive central theme of making reference to a higher power. Therefore, how exactly could someone record these indescribable events then compile the thoughts, write it, and then cannoned into a work called "The Holy Bible".

Actually, english is what I'm worried about. I took my PSATS and I got a 51 and 61 percentile for english while getting a 98 percentile for math.

I'm a B+ math student. Can't get anything higher...

I still haven't gotten my analysis for my PSAT score.

I'm not Asian, but I skipped precalc and am pulling an A- still in IB Math Studies (calculus).

Algebra II- currently studying Logarithms. It's not as hard as I thought...

What's weird about this school is... well, right after completing Algebra II, you can go to Pre-Calculus (yes, in 10th grade) :huh: and then AP Calculus in 11th...

Tha's actually not that bad, my school throws in geometry between Aglebra II and Pre-Calc.

Stupid calc and your two hour homework nights! Gah!

The only thing you have to know.... AP Physics > AP Bio

Our school system goes PreAlgebra->Algebra I->Geometry->Algebra II->Precalculus->AP Calculus or IB Math Methods.
I had to retake Algebra I because my teacher sucked :P

For some odd reason, my high school did PreA -> Algebra I -> Geometry -> Algebra II -> Algebra III (basically Trigonometry) -> Calculus -> AP Calc.

Then at college they went Algebra IV (College Algebra) -> Calculus I (derrCalc) -> Calculus II (InCalc) -> Calculus IV (LinA -- Linear Algebra) -> Probabilty w/ Statistics (ProStats) -> Data Structures.

For some odd reason they leave out Pre Calc and DiffyQ (Calculus III). It doesn't make any sense!

My school:

Algebra 1--> Geometry--> Algebra 2--> Pre Calculus--> I think Calculus comes next, and I think there's a Statistics class. And we had Pre Algebra last year, but a lot of people didn't pass that class until there junior or senior years, and you have to pass Algebra 1 to graduate, so they had to stay an extra year...(although Pre Algebra was easy, I passed with an A)

So, I'm in Algebra 1...with a bunch of freshman...(I suck at math). I'm not gonna go past Algebra 2 in high school...

Mines has 3 tracks
from most difficult to simple.

Track one: Trig, Geometry Honors ( 20 minutes longer than a regualr geo class), Honors Pre-Calc, AP Calc B,C (which counts for the first year of calc in college.

Track two: Geometry, Algebra II (trig), Pre-Calc, AP Calc A,B which counts for one semester for college.

Track three: Algebra, Algebra II, geo, pre-calc~

*is on track one, is also going to get nothing higher than a B the whole way*
If you get a C you get kicked down to track three... they're really mean.

*Cue Hallelujah Chorus*
