Yeah, the video is just an AVI though. None of my videos were doing it before. I downloaded Cam Studio yesterday, so I think that probably has something to do with it, but I have no idea how to fix it now.

Avi files are just containers. In there is a part with video, which could be DivX, Xvid or H264, or something else, and an audio part, which could be Wav, MP3 or WMA, or (again) something else.

So the file just being an avi doesn't mean anything.

h264 in an avi? OMG!

avi holds divx or xvid with either mp3, ogg, or wav sound stream.

ogm only holds xvid and ogg, with a subtitle stream.

mkv can be anything, including a playlist.


and this sounds like you clicked OSD in your decoder, what angelic said. If you have ffmpeg, check your traybar for the icons when playing a video file; you can change everything there.

I would like to see that. From what my encoder mentor told me, he said that avi was only divx-based codecs for video and lossy-based codecs for audio. Then again, avi does stand for Audio-Video Interlace, so I suppose multiple formats for both types are still possible.

Lolol, you have to give it some credit. Most of us liked it at one point or another. Some were *dedicated* fans. \o/

I think the main problem that eva has is that it is super-hyped. It's easy to resent anything that has as much hype as eva has, as everyone has shows they believe should be just as (or more) popular.

I'm always ranting about how shitty GTA is, for example, because the amount of hype it gets annoys me. (There are better games out there! Mario and Zelda are awesome! Remember the classics, you stupid little brats!)
When I really think about it though, GTA is an excellent game, right up there with many of my other favorites.

It's a natural reaction to decry something you feel is getting more attention than it deserves. Balance is justice! ;)

All that being said, I really do think Evangelion is an amazing show. Some of the parts were really great, and the art direction (especially the Eva designs) is genius in my opinion. Of course, there are a lot of other great shows out there that deserve more attention than they get too, hahah. Give credit to all works of art, even the ones that aren't ridiculously popular!

Heh, yeah, that's kind of like my group, except my project is much easier, so I lucked out. Half my members also just copy and pasted straight off the Proctor and Gamble website, which was obvious, because the parts they copied were actually in understandable English. I think they plagiarized out of stupidity though, and not out of dishonesty; they're all pretty decent people. I just stuck some sources in random places, and paraphrased a lot, so everything is fine now.

Sucks to be the guy in the link though, and I hope that girl gets what she deserves. Putting the necks of all of your group members out like that and then lying about it is pretty shitty.

Even if you having something I like (say whiskey which I tend to like) with a meal...fuck that Im having a coke, you could be drinking angel sweat that gets you drunk in 2 drops I dont care, I dont drink to get drunk. Drinking is a social activity, if anything beer is there to extend this social activity for as long as possible.
