I just tried painting outside with my DS, but it's impossible. I can't see the screen at all over the sun. D:
I'll have to try my brother's DS Lite later; from what I've heard, it works a lot better with the program.
The apple painting looks a lot more subdued and blended on the DS too. The regular DS screen is just really hard to see in general. Like, the background on the apple painting seemed almost like it was one solid color on the DS screen and the bottom "table" part looked more like a maroon than a bright red. I was surprised when I opened it up on the computer, hah. It's still the best thing ever, but it'll be even better with a Lite! =D

Ah, also, I watched Ju-on 2 today, the second Japanese Grudge.
It was good; the storyline was better than the American remakes, and the characters were cuter.
(Whenever a cute girl says "Ari-ga-to-uuuuuu~," my heart melts a little.)
Anyway, I think overall the movie was better than the American version, but it wasn't quite as scary, mostly because the special effects weren't as convincing as the American's.

So now I'm wondering if anyone here knows of any good horror anime or manga, because I'd be interested to see how that would work. Books can be creepy as hell, so I'd love to see a well down horror manga or anime.

I can't really remember the time when horror movies stopped bothering me. I used to be absolutely terrified of zombie movies though (Resident Evil, ___ of the Dead, etc.) whenever we watched it as a family, I would never ever sleep in fear of a mob of zombies would bust through our door and have a feeding frenzy.

There's something about a group of threatening things that scare me. When it comes to one single scary sight, I'm fine. It must be the "strength in numbers" thing that gets me XD

Ah, also, I watched Ju-on 2 today, the second Japanese Grudge.
It was good; the storyline was better than the American remakes, and the characters were cuter.
(Whenever a cute girl says "Ari-ga-to-uuuuuu~," my heart melts a little.)
Anyway, I think overall the movie was better than the American version, but it wasn't quite as scary, mostly because the special effects weren't as convincing as the American's.

So now I'm wondering if anyone here knows of any good horror anime or manga, because I'd be interested to see how that would work. Books can be creepy as hell, so I'd love to see a well down horror manga or anime.
Has anyone here seen any? =D

Also, what the hell is a "gay story," Para? Are there gay people in it? Is there buttsecks? Are there graphic descriptions of buttsecks? I wouldn't mind the first two at all, but the third option might weird me out a little bit...

Higurashi is excellent for horror, but you've already watched it.
Beserk is kinda good, but not truly horror; it's more Gothic than horror.
There's monster, but that's more of psyconormal horror.
Jigoku Shoujo.... Isn't horror, but tries to be.
Mushi-shi has me feeling that it's slightly horror-esk, but it doesn't quite fit the mold.
Blue Gender is pretty awesome, but that one kinda fails in the storyline.
Tokko, but it makes no fucking sense. At all. And it's, once again, more gothic than horror.
Corsette no Shouzou is like beserk; more gothic than horror
Ghost Hunt, but that's pretty cute to be horror.
Deathnote fits the mold for horror, but they make it more of a logic game.
Interlude disappointed me.
RahXephon feels like a horror, but isn't.
And xxxHolic reeks of horror, but in a scientific sense.

That's all the ``horror'' that I've watched. Higurashi has been the best, then xxxHolic, then Mushi-shi, then they all kinda suck.

Simon and Kamina's voice actors take the win right at the beginning with their redub of the scene where Yoko is fixing Nia's barret'd hair. I don't remember Nia and Yoko screaming "ANIKI!!~!" and "SIMON!!~!" back and forth at each other in homo-erotic voices, but the scene probably would've been much better off that way. XD

9.5 breaks under proxy, and renders pages without using the toolkit. Meaning, pray that a website doesn't use too much CSS. IE8b or Firefox 3 are, surprisingly, superior in this release.

Haha... neopets... good old days... It's been about 6 years since I last played that game, still I think I ended up quitting because I turned my pet into some ugly thing by feeding him a potion accidentally, and then couldn't afford another potion to turn him back.

Higurashi was pretty good, probably the only one of its kind; but horror genre itself doesn't really appeal to me, so I only mildly enjoyed it. I actually heard alot of good things about Monster though.

And all this talk of 'gay stories' reminds me of Dave Sedaris =)

When I first watched Eva, I saw a few episodes in English, and I thought they were alright. When I really watched the series, I watched in Japanese though. Now that I look back at the English dubs, I really can't stand them. They're not bad by dub standards, but the Japanese is still a lot better I think.

Me and my friends are going to start boxing each other soon. I'm watching Hajime no Ippo to prepare myself, lollercoaster. I'm gonna win!~
