Sadly, English translations for VNs are generally in the back seat. The major one stop is Issani, but they mainly translate the DEMO of the game, rather than the whole game. There's been sub-groubs such as Baka-Tsuki and Mirror Moon that do oddball projects such as novel translation and the likes, but it's generally untouched. I suppose more translators are focusing on anime rather than Visual Novels.

The alternate is the Oh! Text Hooker, and sister projects; but that's about the equivalent of a google translation of what is written. Makes the utterly beautiful storylines pure monkey piss, with a bit of scat from Hippos, washed down with Jericho.

"Me next! Me next!" says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii , relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of pina coladas and the love of my life." Puff! He's gone. "OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager. The manager says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch."


Moral of the story:

Always let your boss have the first say.

The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the to p of the tree. He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.


Moral of the story:

Bull%### might get you to the to p, but it won't keep you there.

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground in to a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.


Morals of the story:
(1) Not everyone who %###s on you is your enemy.

(2) Not everyone who gets you out of %### is your friend.

(3) And when you're in deep %###, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

I just had like a two hour long argument on why digital art is the king of all art forms with a stupid art friend of mine. The sad thing is, if she wasn't such an idiot, she would have realized I was right five minutes in, and the whole thing could've been avoided. The other sad thing is that if I wasn't so stupid, I would've learned by now that arguing with stupid people will get you nowhere, as they'll just repeat the same thing over and over again, paying no heed to your amazingly solid points.

God. I love wasting my time apparently.
Also, she sucks at drawing compared to me, so she really should have just shut the fuck up to begin with. Grr.
The argument ended in sarcasm and name calling, the only way it could have ended, considering how stupid she is, and how immature I am. X3
Her argument was incredibly stupid though. God damnit.

IMO, I think you are taking it a bit far. Even if digital art IS the king of all forms of art (Which I don't believe it is), it doesn't mean everyone should follow that theory. People can have opinions on which one is better, and you should respect her argument. Don't call her stupid because she expressed her opinion. Hahah, I knew somebody would say this, and I was 95% sure that someone would be you. How...predictable of you. Her argument was disrespected because her argument was garbage, not because her opinion was. When somebody repeats the same points that have been shot down over and over again, it kind of invalidates their argument, as was the case with her. Calling myself a better artist than her doesn't make me stupid, as I am a better artist than her, by far. The "she should have just stfu" part was in jest. I've known her almost my entire life; she's one of my best friends and I reserve the right to call her an idiot whenever she's being one. ;)

Hopefully my art knowledge will be helpful in creating interesting and useful shaders! With a little bit of extra work, I could've started at fifteen.
