Okay, I exaggerated. It's still retarded when the first secret galaxy you find is the hardest part of the game. (At least, the hardest part of the game I played; I didn't get all 120 stars.)

And when I did die, it wasn't because of the "Holy shit! This is so hard, my reflexes can't keep up!" challenge the old marios presented. It was more "Oh, what the fuck! The camera is spinning so weird right now!" Which doesn't really count for much, in my opinion, because I'd go back to that part and beat it easily the second time around, since the camera would usually behave on the second try. This kind of scenario offers no sort of satisfaction, obviously, as you're not really doing anything challenging. You're just hoping the camera doesn't do any crazy loops on you.

Bleah. I'm going to start digging into the last half of the stars soon I guess. I hope the game actually has some genuinely challenging moments in it. I know they wanted the game to be playable for everyone, but I think if they were going to do that (which is reasonable), they should have at least made all of the "secret" galaxies ridiculously hard, to appease Mario's older fans. Don't desert us, Nintendo! We still play your games too! XP
I mean, 90% of the levels didn't even have any platforms in them. It's hard to worry about making the next jump when gravity is just going to pull you back to the planetoid you're currently on anyway. = \

Don't get me wrong though. Despite the game being way (way way) too easy for my tastes, I still love the hell out of it. The music and general atmosphere is incredible, and makes the game amazing fun to play, even if you aren't ever worried about dying. I did write my English term paper on how Mario Galaxy validifies videogames as an artform on the same level as anything else, after all.

Zelda needs to get harder, too. I'm replaying the first Zelda, and just walking across the overworld is an epic battle, because every monster in the game has a fair chance of killing you. Exploring is tons more fun when your enemies actually offer up some strong resistance. Climbing up Death Mountain in the first Zelda is like "Jesus Christ! Half a heart left! I'm so awesome for making it up here!" while doing the same thing in the newer Zeldas is like "Ah, well, that was a nice hike with some decent views. Killing those tektites was decently fun, I guess. Even though none of them bothered to attack me. Not like it matters anyway, since I have 600 hearts, and getting hit only takes an eighth of a heart away."

You are missing your video drivers. Get the drivers disc that came with your computer (or video card), and install the video driver that came with your video card.

Chocs are always the better valentine option.

Neither are any good if the target of your affection doesn't care for sweets. (like me)

Personally, there's an awesome stir-fry buffet that I love in my neighborhood. Take me there and I'll put out in the first hour, let alone the first date. :P

I have nobody to give Valentine's things to. Community college sucks like that...you don't really meet anybody, because there aren't many people worth meeting. ;__;

Yeah, it's hard to imagine 4chan holding the record for longest thread, since threads appear and die so quickly. (I love it when I post a thread and then refresh the page as fast as I can, only to discover that my thread has already been knocked down to the second page.)
