So there I was, sitting with my computer case open, installing 2 GB of OCZ ram, when suddenly my screwdriver fell into the case. With a loud clang it hit my graphics card. Me, being slightly flabbergased at what happened, immediatly turned off the power and inspected the card. All looked well, so I returned it to it's proper slot. When I pressed the `on` switch on my computer there were no abnoxious beeps, nor did the debugger LED show that anything was wrong, so I plugged in the monitor. Let me stated that again, I plugged the monitor in. Low and behold, my screen was filled with several blocks of red and green that covered the upper 1/4 and the middle 1/4 of the screen. My graphics card was shot, and now I'm on my brother's computer, typeing this post.

And the moral: don't place your rounded tools on top of the computer desk. They can and will roll off and might hit a very expensive graphics card.

How expensive is it? 4000 USD?

Stupid graphics cards. my Radeon 9600 PRO 256mb was one of the top of the range when I got it two years ago. Even though "The best" these days is like 512mb GeForce 7800, now apparently my computer doesn't have enough video memory to run games at top spec. Fuck that, go update the driver and its fine. Bullshit saleman.

So why is that in the 2 years I was in junior high, the "top spec" computer jumped a whole digit plus in terms of RAM, CPU speed and video memory but these days, it takes two years just to add 200 to anything. By the way my Power supply burned out because I've been starving this poor beast with 350 watts. Well with 450 it's still screaming. So I plugged the fancy lights out.

Stupid programming languages. The so-called "coding language" is semi-english bullshit that screws up at every possible chance, no matter how "grammatically correct" you are. Creating many ways of doing something also gave creation to many ways of fucking up, and then you spend hours and hours actually trying to figure out where is screwed up. And then you find your code is flawless. And so you go around asking a few questions and find out the language is still buggy in that aspect you're working on. yay.

I was awake at 6:30, but I'm too lazy to stay up before 10:30

Hi! So how is everyone?

I'm good, although tired from gym...I had dodgeball today....I moved so fast that no one could hit me...although I HIT a wall in the process and ended up giving myself a huge bump on my head and my nose gave a drop of bloodT_T I was nicknamed Uchiha Sasuke for my speed and agility :heh:.

here's the story, My gym teacher told us that we could play dodgeball...the rules are:
-If you get hit, you go to the other team.
-if a ball ricochetes then hits you, it counts as a hit
-headshots are not allowed, it doesn't count as a hit
-a rule that applies for the guys, a shot to "down there", as my teacher calls it, is considered a hit (I'm not sure why)
-you can use obstacles and other balls to block an oncoming one,
-you are allowed to kick the ball to defend yourself
-the game will end when the last person left is hit.

so here I am, dodging for my life, after atleast 30 mins. only 3 people were left: Me, Sheena (reference on my "I feel...strange" topic) and my other classmate. A few more minutes pass, Sheena and I are left. A ball was fired headed directly at her. Frozen in surpise, she couldn't move...so out of instinct...I didn't even think about doing it, my body just moved by itself! I threw myself in front of her. Taking the hit for her, luckily it was a hit on my face, so I wasn't out yet. Dazed, I shook my head and brushed myself, as I was doing that, a fast ball intended to hit me, curved and ended up hitting Sheena!

so it's 22 students, one teacher and one more grade 12 student (he was a helper) against one brilliant strategist (^_^)...ahem...moving on....so far, it was great, dodging balls left, right and centre...I was jumping around the place! sliding on the floor, jumping off walls everything I can do! then somebody...I guess, one of Sheena's friend yelled out "You can do it, Kurando! (obviously not my real name!)" I was distracted for a few seconds...this gave them a good chance to take a shot.

atleast 4 of them were holding one ball in each hand...and all four threw at unison! seeing the sea of red (the colour of the dodgeballs were red) in my peripheral (sp?) vision. I quickly dodged all of it but I was heading in the direction of the wall....

with a loud thud, even the PE office heard the thud. I hit the wall, my head and my nose throbbing. Everyone asked if I was ok...of course I wasn't, but I'm not about to lose my chance to pwn (yes the pwn is intended) everyone of my class. So I left it alone...did some more dodging, although I was dizzy from the hit, and my legs hurt from moving around quickly too much....

more dodging occured, now atleast 3-5 mins till afterschool, a drop of blood fell from my nose and on to my pants! knowing that if my teacher saw it, he would stop the game immidiately, while dodging the balls I assured that there was no more blood that will be dropping. ( yes I AM stubborn) Don't worry about me though, it wasn't because of the hits on my face...it's just the weather...being cold and I'm sweating from all of the dodging....ahem...anyways

when the afterschool bell rang...the teacher asked who still wants to play, and see if they can hit me! he made it into a contest, who could hit me gets a 100% score for the day! a few students quit because they either had to go home, they are busy or they're tired so some just watched. only 4 students remained...my 2 friends, Sheena and another student...plus my gym teacher. if my teacher hit me...the 100% gets nullified.

everyone did their best. I still owned them, that is until fatigue got the best of me...I caught their attention and told them..."aahhhI too tired! when will this game end!" the gym teacher told me that when I get hit...then the game will end.

a few more minutes...I'm too tired to move, I told them, "I quit! I will just stand in place and dodge everything in one place!" So everyone ganged up and still they couldn't hit me! there was just one thing to do. I stopped throwing balls and waited until they ran out! when they ran out...I threw one last ball to them...Sheena caught it! and with I bowed and said "Go ahead! You've earned this!". She doesn't look that strong, but when she threw the ball, it hit me on my neck...making me fall back.

in the end she and I both got 100% for the day...everyone else went home with sore muscles....including me T_T

my classmates said I was awesome! quick reflexes, speed, agility. As I was walking home with my friends, I came across a few of my classmates and their friends...they called out! "Hey Kurando!" so I came to their direction....and they introduced me to a few of their friends...."This is my friend Kurando, AKA Uchiha Sasuke!" she teased me...she explained to her friend why she called me Uchiha Sasuke...they were so amazed!...and I was of course, embarrased.

Nothing quite like Prepositions and Subordinating Conjunctions! Writing is far more complicated that it seems... Especally when you have to memorize about 70 Prepositions, 32 Subordinating conjunctions, and I'm not going to get into how many Irregular verbs.

then use algrebra to solve c

Just that it had been differentiated to m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) :p
